well not guessing... /sarahk/ is where the news article with the building picture (sarah drowns in spanish) was downloaded from and /birth/ is where the K1 Hardware Activation form was downloaded from.

Hrm, okay..

But haven't we gotten 4 things?

1) the sound file here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=681520#681520

2) the activation letter here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=681793#681793 (this is /birth/ I guess()

3) the news article about Sarah Valetta's death here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=681875#681875 (this is /sarahk/ I guess. Why /sarahk/ and not /sarahv/ ???)

4) the news article about the bunker here: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=682593#682593

So what directories were 1) and 4) downloaded from?

And why hasn't "IP: 208.97.96.43" led to anything yet?

Well we need people that actually got 1) and 4) to come forward and tell us what directories they are under + the password (their magic word) they used to get in. Nobody has told us this yet.

As for Sarahk instead of Sarahv, that's a damn fine question. Same with the IP, damn fine question. Smile

The desktop file name for the Sarah V. file is named Sarah Kiled.

I was the one who got the wave file 1) which was in zip file SR_04. I found it via the googly-eyes, so no idea what directory it's hidden in. Unfortunately, I also got it through http://hubble.interdimensionalgames.com, which I no longer have access to:(

Similarly, I believe Chezzo got SR_01 (The bunk article) via the same method, so we have no other access to it, though he still should via the googly eyes.

Nothing important

So yeah, I'm sitting here doing some work on my laptop, while "Pulse" is playing next to me on my 22" monitor.....Sorta reminded me of this...Now I can't help but think of Henry in the context of the movie...which is a bit darker than I'd thought of him before....

And yes, I know it's a crappy movie.

Just checked up on a hunch and it turns out http://interdimensionalgames.com/cont/walter/ works with a password of "water". Unfortunately there's nothing new there, just the audio of Walter talking about K1 (sr_04) and the html MSG from Vidal. It looks like they moved the zips from the sr_ directories to their own personal ones: K1 activation in /birth, Sarah's death in /sarahk(illed). These are all names of folders in the notepad. I don't know how many more there are but we're missing the one that has the article about the bunker.

EDIT: The bunker article is in /home, password "infertile".

Very nice guessing on the directories, but I don't understand how you are figuring out these passwords.

Back when the WORD.idg.com workaround still worked it would think you were a new user and let you do the hangman game again. I've got a list of 7 words that I went through until one worked.

John,

That's actually a really recent change as near as I can tell. I swear I tried those combinations as early as yesterday morning/afternoon and there was nothing there. I focused especially on all the combinations regarding walter, as soon as we saw the birth/sarahk pattern showing up, and I know for a fact that I tried interdimensionalgames/cont/home

Well I don't know what time zone IDGI is in, but you can tell from the directory that sr_04 was modified last night... so maybe it was added then?

Yeah, lrkr, sure you checked yesterday. Quit trying to steal my credit. Wink

That's eerily lucky timing. I was going to check last night but I was already half asleep and needed to get up early so I did it this morning instead. I'm still taking credit though...

And I will conceded credit to you, good sir.

Though now I think they/Henry are/is watching us......

Little creepy.
