Alright, so a couple things I noticed, putting them in spoiler cuz it seems like a good idea.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I went through the flash on the computer and I had something "copied" from before. I then went to go paste it, and when I tried to, I pasted "Goodbye, seeker." Scared the living crap out of me because I didn't expect it at all. Also, if you hit the Page down key repeatedly , on the second page of the blog on the "computer" part of the flash, you can see a smiley face being drawn as you watch. definitely implies that someone/thing knows you're looking through this computer, we're not being that discreet I guess.

I think too the fact the timeline pages have strange comments in huge "hand" writing (not just the smiley face) leads it to be that someone/thing is watching or altering it for some damn reason -- and whoever is doing it really doesn't give a shit that it's known he's doing it

For the record, I am using Google Chrome (Beta version, with Flash plugin version 10.0 r42) too, and the site is working well with me.

So I'm getting the impression that http://company.interdimensionalgames.com/ is an OOG metablog -- very confusing! Anyway there's been an update:

Quote:
First web update – v1.01
by alienmelon on Jan.03, 2010, under Website Updates
Rocking on with the new online presence our crack commando web team has a new update:
Exterminated a number of bugs and state issues with the solar system (specifically the moon)
Incorporated event tracking so if you click on the moon after you've triggered the phenomena you can jump right back into the alternate dimension
We are proud to announce an all new intro theme and remastered soundtrack by Archangel Gabriel.
We're really thrilled by the reception our online experience has received, and would like to extend a warm "thank you" to everyone writing about us and sending us around. As a result the web team is cooking-up a bunch of new goodies to keep the masses entertained. So make sure you subscribe to the RSS feed and come back often.
We're just getting started.

Interesting.

agree

yep, it must be... it seems there is two sides to the whole thing - the space scene and all the topics and links at the top (forum, blog, etc) are for the company and all includes things that exist now (I.E. looking up the various random satellites shows they are all currently going and all seem to be REAL)... the only thing fictional is the "iDGi satellite" they mention is where the view of space is apparently coming from. So then when you go through the anomaly thing, everything gets really whacky and I believe its a different time in general (because of the long timeline of seemingly random events mixed with personal things - and then making the desktop all "old" windows looking really messes with the whole thing) --- so they are messin' with our heads... having the ARG actually be a section inside their company website which is apparently triggered by shit we find in that space scene.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Also the projectb6 page is obviously a big part of everything and the countdown that appears when you click consortium (as another post stated) is really very interesting. consortium seems to be the only word in the list that's not quite normal or "like the others".... and is the only one that doesnt give you a link outside the site.

This morning when clicking on the moon, I didn't get the "recorded event" option that allows you to repeat the anomaly stage. I did notice a small triangular icon just above the subscribe RSS tab. By clicking on it, it appears to open a small tab under the word subscribe and shows a small moon sliver, by clicking that I can get the anomaly to occur.

If you want to see what the projectb6.com page looked like before, you can access the cached version here:

http://74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:QQti2Jn22OIJ:www.projectb6.com/

As far as I can tell via judicious googling, this seems to have been some kind of directory page maintained by the PM. What it has to do with the game, I have no idea.

I Googled " define: consortium" and got "an association of companies for some definite purpose" and "Syphon Filter is a video game series published by Sony and developed by Sony Bend (formerly Eidetic), that has appeared on the PlayStation " I didn't play that game. Does this look like it's in the same vein?

Something I noticed after reading another post - I only NOW understand what it meant.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Launch the eclipse anomoly thing - go into the desktop screen, right after clicking "start" when it says Hello Seeker. Now... open a notepad on your desktop. Hit paste in the notepad. So damn cool!

Has anyone else clicked on the 'end' button in the bottom left corner of the computer screen?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Something seems to be tracking you back to the present - creepy stuff. And if you click 'cancel' you can get a brief dialogue with whatever was scribbling on the blog (I assume).

that is really interesting. i don't seem to recall any flash based site i've visited in the past having access to your clipboard like that.

Hrm. Is there anyway to get a copy of the raw code that scrolls by during the flash? I wonder if that's an image or something.

I don't know but on a failed spark of smartness, I tried to set my comp. date to 3/1/28 but nothing, well unconfirmed it got rid of the symbol after you move the date and I think the file under it, but I'm not sure, I'll I know, one second it's there, next it's not. Razz

There's a new file in the folder under the date thing.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The MP3 sounds to me like 'January 25th, 2028', and then an argument about testing something
