TWTWE q&a The Way Their World Ended Q&A Hey there Intimation players! There is need for some more involvement from the Intimation fan community! There is a Q&A happening sometime in the near future regarding the TWTWE ARG. Though there is a nice catch: you, the fans, are open to questioning anything about the plot, ARG, or frankly, anything regarding Intimation whatsoever! The questions from you will be handed to the developers and will be answered and posted publicly in the near future. There is no official date for the Q&A at this moment in time because at this moment we're at the beginning stages gathering questions from the community and what they want to know about Intimation. Please submit your questions by posting your username first (as listed below) then posting your question.

Just to let you know, all questions will be considered but not all will be answered. Thanks for all who submit and played the prologue and we hope to answer as many questions as possible!

P.S. The questions already gathered are below. The first few are gathered from the Intimation Wiki page.
Quote:
* Did you have bigger plans for the Amber page that got ditched
when we couldn't get the password for two months?
* Are you (or is one of you) really going to be the father to a little girl
(congrats, if so)? Did your wife really have to go to the doctor like
Eridanos said in that tweet (hope everything is OK!)?
* When Sys "made mistakes" in playing along with Essy, (e.g., 2 pieces
got released late), was that on purpose to show Sys' breaking down, or
was it PM/technical error?
* How did Eridanos get Anaerin's "tool"? Anaerin had not even posted it
on unFiction!
* Did Anaerin's tool surprise you, or were you counting on someone doing
something similar to find all the pieces hidden in the maze?
* How did you come up with :@) being this game's "symbol"?
* Were you suprised to have a smaller number of players at first and then
a massive wave coming in from UF?
* Where you suprised to have the GPS missions fail at first?
* Was there anything you wanted us to find that we failed to?
* Were you suprised for us to find most of the skulls before we even had
the first navpath?
* Who composed and performed the beautiful piece of music on the PNT?
* Just how frustrating was it to have to sit on your hands in hibernation
periods?

catherwood:
* Did you have a physical structure in mind, or was it all simply a mathematical graph?
7urducken:
* What is the origin behind the music we have heard during this "game"?
XxguitarboyyxX:
* Was Marty an inspiration for the music?
* How did did you make Essy/Naira seem like she was real?

Dav Flamerock asks:
Why do you keep mentioning a 'Prologue'? Does that mean that what we have played to this point was setting up for another ARG, or are the events of Intimation leading up to a story told by some other medium? It seemed quite long for a prologue.

Yes actually, the events played out in last year or so was the prologue to the real story which, at this moment, has no set beginning date but it is being developed nonetheless!

Can we know what form this story is going to take? Book? Movie? Audio Drama? ANOTHER ARG?

My immediate questions:
Who are you and what is your pipeline to the developers?
And why won't the developers come out from behind the curtain?

I thought you all did a fine job, the only reason I wasnt one of those directly involved was due to the lateness in which I discovered it, by that time the thread was huge and ^_^ well it was just fun to watch anyway.
Good work look foward to the continuing fiction..

Why did you choose to only be active once a week?
Sometimes I found myself bored and wishing for action, but it really helped spread out the whole story nicely.
Why did you start with twitter?

catherwood is curious about the layout of the "stonewall maze". I was trying to build a 3-D model in the form of a regular crystal out of the logical connections between nodes, but there were gaps and jumps that made it difficult. Did you have a physical structure in mind, or was it all simply a mathematical graph?

I must be missing something. I looked at that link and cannot see a PNT there nor anything that would be abbreviated as such. I do note that the entry was updated on 11/11 so maybe it got removed?

Well at the moment, I am allowed to disclose that there will be another ARG. That is all I can say now.

As for you, I am keeping in direct contact with an SFTA rep that is collaborating with me on this Q&A. And also, The developers will stay in the shadows as long as they need to, they have much to do and no time to waste .

Thanks for making the Q&A online, SpartanI013.
Don't have any questions other than when we start again.

This seems strange to me. Either they admit to being developers of a game or not. The SFTA letter (see other thread) tries to continue the alternate reality further, denying there really are "developers" at all but using the concept as a cover. Is this really necessary? At some point, if I enjoy my entertainment, I really do want to know who is behind it -- and it's okay to acknowledge that it was just entertainment, seriously.
That being said, feel free to rephrase my question in an in-game manner if necessary. "Does the SFTA have any further details about the layout of the stonewall maze? Were the nodes in a regular, rectangular crystal structure in relation to each other?" [camelot](It's only a model.) [/camelot]

[SPEC]My assumption is that the developers have chosen this approach because the ARG is not, technically, over -- everything that has passed so far is but prologue, and there will be more to come. Therefore, while they understand and appreciate the desire for a post-game PM chat, we're not really "post-game" yet... so they've hit upon a compromise.[/SPEC]
