Lol I was wondering what the hell the email I got was all about, I thought it was just wrong email address or something.

Seems interesting so far.

EDIT: Doing a google search on her name brings up a google profile:
http://www.google.com/profiles/shamiyao I'm assuming it's hers anyway, it links to her facebook page.

Any chance this might be related to the "2012" movie promotion, Institute for Human Continuity? That game has both a corporation and a character outside the org, perhaps this is yet a 3rd character in that game?

I got the friend request on Facebook first - at which I was trying to figure out how I could possibly know her (with the exception of the Citizens of Gotham character Dr. Miller and Maddison Atkins, my Facebook is primarily personal contacts), then about ten minutes later, the email came.

Definitely keeping a (fairly close) eye on this!

Got the friend request too - haven't checked an e-mail. I, of course, have no qualms about language or coarseness.

A "friend" of mine got a facebook friend request... Would a corporate sponsored game have this many swears? Would a corporate sponsored game knowingly violate the Facebook ToS and have a fictional character post story information when the account could be deleted at any time by FB? I could be wrong, but I'm guessing this is a grassroots game.

Either way - I'll pass on this one (mostly because of the regular dropping of the F-bomb)

Well since I haven't checked my email in forever I only read this message yesterday. friended her on facebook and am following her blog, but there doesn't seem to be any updates :[
and I can't find any info on her mom, Tracy, even though she mentions having her make a facebook.

annnnyways, seeing as I have no morals, I'll definitely play if this in fact a game.
