There are surely other connections /combinations.
Its not like "gluten-free" but its something.....

Where did you learn that he likes that particular dessert?

Nowhere. Just one thing in common with the two resturants on the list.

I'm also thinking, since Pappadeux is Cajun comfort food, that he might also frequent Shuck 'N Dive. Unfortunately, the latter has no website.

There is an Olive Garden directly across the street from

http://www.crpc.org/

but I don't see a connection, if there's a restaurant connection at all.

Developments

I sent Lee Roy a dm on Twitter and here is his response:

lee_roy10
hey! think you're on to something. atreynich used his debit card yesterday at days inn ft. lauderdale!! contacting hotel & restaurant now...

After that, Atreynich posted the following:

plastic panic

Well seems I screwed up and used my Visa debit card with my real name instead of one of the gift cards!
Nearly a month on the run and the stress is getting to me so I got careless.

There was a message on my room voice mail when I came in with a number to call back. I recognized it as Lee Roy's cell! So he's tracked me down. Funny, I wanted him to in a way, but realize I'm not ready to be found yet!

So anyway gotta find a new place to hide out in Ft. L. being sure to use my alias.

So, we know he's still in Ft. Lauderdale. I would imagine he'd show up to a Sunday service at Coral Ridge. There have been a lot of hints from this group about the hunt for Evan Ratliff, and one of the things that tripped Ratliff up was the sort of food he preferred, so my money is on comfort food restaurants withing walking distance of the train or bus stations in Ft. Lauderdale.

Several Days Inns near Grayhound station

http://bit.ly/av34mi

But he's on the move...

Shuck n Dive with it's ( duh-duh-dahhhh ) bread pudding is only two blocks.

http://southflorida.menupages.com/restaurants/shuck-n-dive/menu (I must be hungry, this sounds really good right now)

Sounds good to me, too. Wink

Anyway, this place is within easy walking distance to the restaurant and any number of bus stops:
Tropicana Motel & Apartments‎
711 North Federal Highway, Ft. Lauderdale, FL‎ - (954) 764-5628

I'll dm Lee Roy and see what he thinks.

This is my best disguise yet! Complicated and uncomfortable but awesome. So not-Trey.
At least locked in my room I can get comfortable though. And great takeout food nearby here.

Thanks Les Michaels! I could never have lasted this long undetected without all your help

http://www.dixietakeout.com/ Mmmm, with bourbon sauce....

lodging nearby

Wonder if he's wearing some of the Grillz and some tats Smile

Soooo, we need to look for someone who looks like Dennis Rodman in drag Laughing

Wish he'd pick a disguise that would stand out in a crowd......

More new stuff

DM from Lee Roy:

Good detective work. Thanks! I called Tropicana. No Nich but don't know his alias. Need pretext. Ideas? Wish I could go to FL. Can't leave.

Here's my beef: This is supposed to be a Ratliff-like hunt, but we've never been given any photos of Trey as a baseline, so how are we supposed to know what "So-not-Trey" looks like?

Yeah, all we got is that list on page 5 and what Lee Roy tells us. Gonna have to be enough.
He's mentioned Les Michaels twice, think this is the one?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYPHm-FtqVY

Maybe he is in a bad wig and a dress (Complicated and uncomfortable but awesome)

What pretext would help Lee Roy?
Lost relative.
Lotto winner.
Cheating husband.
Needs medication.

Here's what bothers me about the Les Michaels thing: The Twitter account used for this hunt points to what appears to be a legitimate cabaret website. Now, if the Twitter user is the guy you found, he could get into a whole lot of legal trouble for pointing to the cabaret Les Michaels' site - unless he has permission for the duration of the hunt.

IDN
They both seem legit and been around longer than this. Maybe just borrowed for a bit. (I think the cabaret Les wears a little make-up)

New DM and Post

lee_roy10
Normally Trey is 5'10" & 160#. Earlier he blogged "I now appear fatter, taller, and partially bald!" Maybe in drag now like @ MardiGras '09!

lee_roy10
"Graham" is Prof. Anna. Rumored Trey sleeps with her. I never saw them together. But I didn't hang out socially with the boss.

Atreynich:
reference list

You know, I get that this hunt is supposed to be like the Evan Ratliff thing, but what these hunt people aren't getting is that Evan's hunt began with at least some baseline information. *Evan's hunters had his photograph, for example.* Police manhunts start with more basic information. What use is fatter, taller, and partially bald without knowing what he looked like at the beginning, what color his hair is, and whether he's pale or dark? How are we supposed to know what his Mardi Gras '09 getup looked like?

Evan's hunt had a metric crapton of participants all over the globe. This one looks like it only has two at this point. If they want someone to physically find Trey in Ft. Lauderdale, they'll be sorely disappointed.

I believe it can all be done online, but then I'm wrong a lot. And there's really only the one player, I just stop by ever so often and throw out some s4it to see if anything sticks to the walls.

Anagrams abound for atreynich, Les Michaels, Evan Ratliff etc, Laverna Tiff being my favorite if he's going in drag, Tyre Chain if he's covered in tats.
If we could guess his current alias, Roy could check the hotel.....

I've been living on that anagram site for a while now. My favorite is Ranch Yeti. Wink
