Totally OT, feel free to scroll past. Not to disparage you or your theory, but any mention of Dekker sends me into a rant. As a horror fan and an atheist, I find it insulting when I get to the end of the book only to find that the entire time I've spent reading it was an elaborate ruse to convert me. He's done this in the two novels of his I've read (I read two because I wanted to make certain I wasn't overreacting and that this was indeed his modus operandi) and it just smacks of insincerity.

But, the theory ain't bad.

I myself am an agnostic, and dislike religion. I also hate the religious-ness of his books, but meh, I like the few that aren't chockful of it.

As for the theory, what do you think? I think if it weren't for Masky likely being TTA, it would be plausible.

 		Long-time lurker, first-time poster. This is probably really crazy, so feel free to tear it apart, but I don't think anyone's brought up this point before. I can't help but get the feeling that "us" in these videos doesn't necessarily refer to any group of people (i.e. - Alex, Brian, etc.) in MH, but rather to the audience itself. "US." We, who are watching and speculating. "Tell US; you have been keeping secrets" meaning "what else are you not telling the viewers, J?" and "return to us" meaning "come back to reality"or something similar...or "get your ass back on youtube and post another video already, as we clearly have not shat enough bricks!!!"

I know it's probably nonsense, because it doesn't at all explain who TTA is, but...I just can't shake the feeling that "us" doesn't refer to J's circle of friends, OR Slender, OR Masky.

That is actually a very good theory, something I haven't seen mentioned on the forums before.

As you did, I read the line "Tell us; you have been keeping secrets" as TTA siding with the YouTube audience. After all, TTA is watching and responding to J's YouTube videos, just like the rest of us.

I get what you're saying about "Return to us". J has been in his own world lately - a world built around his growing obsession with MH/SM. A YouTube viewer would indeed be concerned about J's mental health, and may wish to pull him out of this state before he is too far gone. However, TTA is the last person I'd expect to call J on his obsession - TTA is in so deep, he purposefully attracted SM to his house and filmed it...and brought J along to witness the horrifying event. If anything, TTA would be interested in dragging J into the same state that he's in.

A few days before this video, J expresses his interest on Twitter in returning to the house. TTA has always responded to J's outings, and the timing of this video response makes me lean toward the "come back to the house, J" explanation.

Your explanation is still possible, though J's response to the "us" seems like the gamemasters want to highlight the use of the word as unusual and important.

OR, what if there is more than one Slenderman? Would be very terrifying.

I had this idea with a friend a long time ago, that it would rock our socks if one of the videos had SM, and then in the very last few frames, another SM turned around and revealed himself.

I think it has been brought up before, the possibility of more than one.

But that would kind of mean that SM is TTA, since it is he who wrote the message (presumably.)

 		I doubt there's more than one slenderman. He can just manifest more than one of himself, be in two places at once.

 		TTA's declaration of "Found you" indicates there's only one Slender Man (and he found him). Otherwise, he would say "I found one of you".

I believe "return to us" refers to Masky and SM. Last we saw, they were in the house together. TTA is reminding J that he will run into SM if he comes back to the house.

 		I'm not going to go down defending my theory, since it was only an idea and I'm not dedicated enough to it to care if it's right or wrong, but

1) Manifesting himself in multiple places could be seen as there being more than 1. To the layman, anyways.
2) I wasn't talking about it LOOKING like there is more than one, so moving really fast doesn't count.
3) TTA doesn't necessarily know everything about SM, so him saying found you could be mistaken, as well. The, "Don't trust J he is human" argument doesn't hold much water imo, since nothing has proven that we can trust TTA.

Just going to drop it here, I don't want to argue about it; I just get pissed off when people say, "ST00PID THEORY HERE IS MY REBUTTAL I SPENT 3 SECONDS THINKING OF."

Not sure what it means, but it certainly appears to have been done with some intention behind it, instead of just to look odd-sounding.

Just want to mention that the multiple Slenderman theory has been argued, and shot down nearly since the creation of MH. It's not being rebutted after 3 seconds of thought; it's being rebutted after months of speculation.

Yes, totheark's response "Return" shows Slenderman walking through the house: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUI-3lU6bek. As far as I remember, it's filmed in the "coughing hallway".

That is thought to be during the 3 hours Jay doesn't remember, however? I thought you were talking about the first appearance of Masky.
