Haha, god I hope an interesting looking ARG over someone going missing with possible paranormal qualities doesn't turn out to be some quirky ARG about a cat lover. Laughing

What I find curious is that the MJBson account really is closed. Now, I don't know if you can "close" your own account somehow, but if not then it seems odd that it would actually be closed, presumably by Youtube administration, just for an ARG.

That link had already been posted actually, but thanks I guess, uh, Guest.

Speaking of that video though, was anyone else sat there watching it thinking "Okay... this doesn't seem to offer anything useful?" This almost seems like its not a game, though, I suppose ARGs are supposed to make you think like that.

Just on a side note, When I contacted Robert about the video he sent me a second note back saying...

Excuse me but, do you know this is an ARG (Alternate Reality Game)? It's an internet mystery puzzle that is posted on a few websites. These mysteries are specifically geared towards people of any age, but I just checked your profile and realised you are 41 and in the military, and I just wanted to let you know there is no real danger here. I thought you were asking me that question 'in-game'. I'm sorry if this caused any caution!

So I guess that answers that question. Lol

Does anyone else see a weird blue dot in the sky at 1.48? Could just have been a lantern though. Also, that cat was definitely thinking 'fuck you, with your opposable thumbs that aren't being used to open the bloody door for me' Very Happy

As far as I could tell, its just the Sun and the camera's image is just messed up by the brightness.

Has any one seen anything to work on here? I have gone over both videos pretty close (at least to my ability) and I can't find anything to move us to the next place.

The only thing I see that is really odd is

1. The distortion sequence in the first video.
2. The damn cats.
3. The lack of any clues in itself is kinda creepy.

Where to next?

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing, I'm sorta like "Okay, interesting concept, nice signs of something creepy going on, but what do we actually do?"

The bad thing is, I really want to get into this. This is the first ARG I've been in on from the beginning. Plus it looks like it has potential.

Lets hope there is more coming.

I sent a new message via Youtube to Robert

Quote:
Hi Robert,

I have looked over your newest video titled "Backyard". I did not see anything that may help lead us to your son. When you reviewed the video did you happen to see anything that we might look at which would lead us in the right direction. I was also wondering what your thoughts are on the cats? They seem to be pretty prevalent in both videos.

I was also wondering if you had the time to look into the vent from the first video? If you have, what did you find inside.

Please know that we are here to help and there are more of us everyday.

Batt

Lets see if this produces some results.

I heard some strange noise in this vid at about 1:15 as filmed at that wooden house.
It sounded like some sligth distortion for half a second or so.
Did anyone else hear it?

Yep, it also appears right at the start of the video. I first thought it was the sun just messing with with the camera however I think it looks intentionally done. (Of course, could just be looking for something where there is nothing.)

Mentioned before, that spot. I still think its just the camera reacting so the sun's brightness.
