Obviously we've decoded the "WATCH THE TREES" message from the first text file (fairly obvious Slendyfare). But what is more interesting I think is the emphasis on sleep - I think we need to hear more about James' dreams. Ive asked for more details, I hope we get a reply soon.

oog: I think the characters in this are really well rounded, gj PMs.

Lol, totally didnt bother to translate it myself because one of the commenters said they translated it as a line of gobbledegook.

The key is near James is interesting. Could be Jess, or an inaminate object. The "it" in the last line suggests innanimate - we really need to see in that box!!

Hey, he's branching out a bit with the encryption!

Unfortunately we've been trying to tell him to post the content of the box pictures for a while and he still hasn't. :X How frustrating!

How dare he complicate things for my simple brain! Pfft.

Anyway, yes it does seem a bit like stalling for time. Maybe we should just flood the thread with this:

"CHECKTHEBOXCHECKTHEBOXGODAMMITCHECKTHEBOX"

This is the last time I'll be able to check the forum till monday morning, I'll expect results people. Get on it. Razz Razz

Maybe if we force nn to upload pictures of the box, it'll get done faster. XD James is such a stick in the mud.

As a matter of interest, how did you go about decoding it? I'm new to this cryptology malarky and am really keen on gaining the know how.

Ta.

edit: also, ill try to mail visioninsleep - see if he can show us!

I googled a binary decoder and used this:

http://home2.paulschou.net/tools/xlate/

Then, seeing that the resultant text didn't match the other forms, there, I took it to a ROT decoder, here:

http://theblob.org/rot.cgi

The text wound up being ROT 13, which is another code that n.n seems to have used in the past.

(For the second newest update, the ecryption went: 'Binary -> Base64'.)

I'm just careful about what I post in the blog, because every once in a while, they leave code that, when translated, James SHOULDN'T read. I'm thinking that leaving direct translations has freaked him out too much in the past. Maybe if we paraphrase with gentler connotations, he'll get into action a little faster!

James is stalling, and the Man in Black gets another handful of arms...

Looks bleak for these folks. Say hello to Logan for me.

You're probably right dray. I mean, some msgs such as "watch the trees" are obviously meant for jess/james but there have been those which are explicitly meant for us and some players have been douches and showed them to james even though n.n said not to.

I think, for the moment - keeping jess closeby and showing us the box contents should be task no'1.

Edit: also, on my bberry at the moment so I can't copy and decode the comments left by anonymous and masky and determine if they are OOG or IG? Or is it someone from UF?

They both say the same thing, but because it's a troll and the content is lame, I'm not going to bother reposting it.

Fair enough, eagerly awating a reply from n.n though.

meta:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
maybe the PMs are using this time to make the items inside the box.
