AH! Reverse that and you have what happened to me. I used to be terrified of PH, and I recently moved to the coast where the ocean is two blocks away, so when it fogged outside I'd flip my shiz. But now Slenderman has BLOWN Pyramid Head out of the water for me; Static on my phone: Interference from SM. Creepy noises outside: SM doing weird stuff. Loud banging noises from rooms around me: TTA (because for some reason I can't call him Masky) being a creeper.

Quote:
I got used to them eventually, but now because of MH I'm hyperaware of everything creepy that occurs around me.

Also same: I have a stairwell in my apartment were someone wrote in almost-too-light-to-see text: "Don't be a puppet", then I saw "Why have Babies" written in the sidewalk along with "Always there" written on a telephone poll. I live in Seattle so graffiti shouldn't freak me out, but all thanks to MH is does and I start looking into it..

On an unrelated note:
I had a SM dream, the only one I ever had- it was about TTA sneaking into my room and just perched on my desk next to my bed.. He was trying to 'will' me to wake up, but I wouldn't. (I sleep like a rock) So he decided to start banging the walls and then grabs the posts of my bed and starts shaking it. Low and behold I decided to suffer my first attack of 'Sleep Paralysis' when this dream happened, so midway though I woke up and nearly had a panic attack. It was great.

On an even more unrelated note:
I heard there was gonna be a draw off! I've been drawing quite a bit of TTA and Slenderman and I wanted to hop on that little train if I could- most of my stuffs gotten pretty stagnant and I need some new material. Also an art student here so any chance I could play along Very Happy?

hahaha, this may just be because I'm in the "TTA and Masky are separate people" camp, but I just can't call the guy who runs around in the mask TTA. Even if that theory is totally wrong, he's only TTA when he's posting videos on youtube! In person he's Masky! >:O

Most of my MH-related dreams haven't really been scary because of my dreams' tendencies to combine things with other less-scary things in my life. I did have one semi-scary dream a while ago though - I was trapped in some random house with a bunch of classmates, and TTA/Masky were holding us hostage or something. For most of the dream I was alone in what looked like a kitchen with Masky standing guard all crouch-ily in the corner. At one point I decided to try to charge out the door before Masky could react, but I got seizure-tackled before I could get out. D: I ended up back in the corner I was in before and thought about trying the same thing again (because dream-me has about as much sense as Jay, apparently), but then Masky did that little finger-gun hand gesture at me and that was threatening enough. (I still think that's one of the scariest things I've ever seen Masky do for some reason...)

I doodle MH-related stuff all the time, but Windows has finally decided to die on me, so unless I can get my scanner working in Fedora I won't have any way of sharing said doodles. I'll see what I can do about that though!

AH! What entry did he do this in and why haven't I drawn it?!

Oh, he never actually did it in an entry, it was just something I dreamed him doing. That thing where you make your thumb and index finger look like a gun. :v

(then I supposed I've never seen him do it either, just dreamed it...)

Oooh, oh well then.. The question still remains why the heck haven't I drawn that?!
But it would be pretty cool to see a little of that personality in him, you know, aside from sickly, seizure-ing, creeper.

I happened upon a video that started off fairly calming... until I noticed a sound in the background. A soft, repetitive sound. Almost... like... tapping.... Shocked

Have a listen.

Seriously, I'm starting to understand how that guy in The Tell-Tale Heart felt. Crying or Very sad

Wow, that sounds very much like the tapping in a few MH videos. I wonder...does it help with the hypnosis?

I'm not sure. I've heard another with a slightly similar sound, but it was more like one of those ringed dryer-exhaust tubes being dragged across something, and it was more annoying than anything,.

You're forced to look for HIM even though you know if you ever really spot HIM you'd just kill yourself on the spot.

I realized I watch to much MH when, last night, I found myself with my
phone, texting.
About 30 min. later in the same spot, no signal.

I shook that one off, but then my TV started cutting off.
I was a little freaked out then. Didn't help that during this, I
was on here, hearing about Slendy, thinking he was
right outside my door Shocked

Last night at 1:30 in the morning, my dog had to go out. Fine normal slender paranoia. Then suddenly, the thickest fog I've ever seen in my life starts rolling over. Needless to say I was ready to piss myself.

...you come late to this ARG, absorb it all in 2-3 days, and then....

Y'know how there's that line that bisects your Facebook photo on your profile? You glance up out of the corner of your glasses, see it as a tape break, and immediately pull a panic 180 in your computer chair.

I work in a TV station.

Digital stuff is pretty good, but you still get the occasional audio hit or dirty tape head which causes a little digital glitch.

I used to ignore them.

Shocked
