I'll get up in the morning and suddenly, all the doors in the house are either open or closed, the opposite of whatever they were before.

Takes me minute to emember the cats.

My black dog. I was in the shower once and I guess I didn't completely shut the door. When she pushed that door open and all I registered was some black thing, I jumped. She would sometimes freak me out when she would come into my bedroom too because of the way my bed was, I could see the door open, but not her come in.

I was watching these videos on youtube (The Joker Blogs), and it wasn't even suppose to be scary, but it had a lot of static, both video and audio, and I was absolutely terrified.

You know you watch to much MH when: Your first and only idea for what to be for Halloween is Slenderman. and i convinced my best friend (whos also really into MH) to be Maskey, funny part is we fit the body styles perfectly.

You know you watched to much Marble Hornets when you dress up as the cool guy who gives extra candy plus returns your camera.

I've played around with the idea of dressing up as Slender Man and returning to my University (where I graduated from back in May) and just standing around in out-of-the-way locations throughout the day and see if anyone notices me.

But that probably wouldn't end well, so....

haha that would be interesting, i mean it would make for great video, but as you said probably wouldn't end well. Best part about Halloween is i CAN just stand by random light post and trees and see if anyone notices, and if they do just have Maskey run out from behind me and scare them even worse.

YKYWTMMHW....

You postpone/take a break from finishing studying for your Pscyh exam tomorrow because MH is on, but end up actually studying better because you start relating things in the series to terms you need to know. Just the first two examples:
The Pavlovian Affect that comes with distortion as it relates to The Operator, the Neural Stimuli from early on "What the heck is the screen moving for?" to the Conditioned Stimulus as the distortion becomes related to The Operator, and finally turning into Unconditioned Stimulus, where simply the distortion on it's own is enough to make the viewer jump even if The Operator isn't around.

There's also the levels of memory processing/loss and the missing 7 months and how he's slowly recalling it, similar to an odd case of retrograde amnesia we're studying right now.

There's also the concept of Hot Processing, where the mind tries to recall things and relate them to the present in a twisted dejavu, which turns up a lot in Marble Hornets due to the less-then linear timeline, as evidenced by the most recent Entry.

GO MH HELP ME MAKE AN A!

I should totally make a The Psychology of Marble Hornets something in my bored-free time. Would anyone be interested in that?

You jump when you have in the cross word puzzles clues.

Bible Ship - Ark
Thin - Slender
Phone Helper - Operator

The Operator has made 2 appearances in my dreams in the last 2 days.

The first one, two nights ago; I don't remember the context, but I walked into a room to find The Operator standing behind a counter for some reason, then when I saw him he split into two Operators!!1!. I don't remember if anything happened after that.

Last night; I was with a friend walking around outside near a road in a somewhat secluded area, with a bunch of plants and stuff near the road, possibly woods nearby as well (like much of the scenery in Marble Hornets).

I spotted The operator partially concealed behind a large leafy plant near the road. I walked toward him/it for some reason, and as I got closer I realized it was fake. Parts of it seemed to melt away as I got closer, eventually just turning into a post with a black mannequin head perched on top of it.

I then went on a tangent about how I always wondered how they created the Operator effect in the Marble Hornets videos, and it was cool to see it up close and know how it was done.

Then, my friend I was with pointed across the street and said "What's that?". I looked and it was The Operator walking along the road Shocked .

I recently had my first Operator dream. In my dreams my house was out in the woods and I kept checking to see if I could spot him. never could but I could still sense him. later on in the dream I was downtown and I saw him standing at the trainstation and just like in MH he didn't move. Laughing

The odd thing was I was think where does the Slenderman go and could we have more Slendermen in history. Not sure but it was creepy thinking he could be in the old pictures.

while we're on the topic of halloween and dreams, I am proud to announce that I am both going as Masky for halloween AND have had a slenderman dream. In the dream I was just lying down in my bed when the door flew open and I saw slenderman at the end of my hallway. I started flipping out and trying to get up, but I couldn't move. He slowly walked closer to me, and when he wasn't but 2 feet away, he picked me up with one of his arms... and then I woke up XD.
