 		This is unrelated to the ARG/intereactive game we're discussing here, but since trailers were brought up - did anyone watch the "gameplay" trailer?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You watch what is basically an interactive cutscene. A woman snooping around a house and is then attacked by an unknown person, and it flashes up "Triangle" "Circle" etc (except shapes not words) and, presumably if you press them on time, you pull off certain preset moves, like, pushing a table over etc.

To be frank I was unimpressed, I mean, is this gameplay to these people? I am hoping that this was just a demonstration of interactive cutscenes and not the game's main gameplay, because if it is, it looks as though you're watching a movie except every few minutes it'll wake you up to say "Hey, press a few buttons when I tell you."

 		As far as I know, that section was cut from the game and will be available as exclusive dlc for people that buy the special edition. You should watch some of the other gameplay videos.

That was originally a tech demo and will be available as DLC.

But for most scenes you do control your characters movement, but when interacting with other characters or performing actions, you will select what action to perform using the button presses. Heavy Rain is essentially an interactive movie. I cant wait.


On another note, "Four Days" starts up tomorrow! Whoo!

Yeah, I can't wait! This is my first ARG in years. (Last one ever being iamblind, i think.) Glad to be back! Can't wait for this game either!

 		i'm pretty excited!
i've been waiting for this game to come out.
hopefully i can do this arg, because every time i tried to be part of one people found things way faster than me and i felt kinda useless.

but i'm still really really really excited!

Alex Pavey works for sony and is involved in the marketing of Heavy Rain so I think it's safe to say home and the unlocked shirt will definitely play a part at some point.

 		Aaaand... we are go!

Just received an email giving a not-so-subtle direction to http://www.heavyrainps3.com/rainisfalling stating that the 'rain is already falling'. Unfortunately, I'm having some trouble loading the website so I can't see what's happening, but the twitter account has some interesting tweets.

EDIT: Okay, I don't know if there's discussion going on elsewhere, but here's a few things I've picked up on.

Alright, after reading through all of the character bios on the home page, I noticed that Madison often rents out a motel room. @perfectfolds has a picture of a Motel 152 key as his background, as well as some photographs and negatives. The negatives, so far as I can tell, appear to be of her. I'm not sure what the Twitter background is supposed to represent, but it looks like it's made by the Origami Killer. I speculate that the Origami Killer has taken photographs of her, and has a key to the same hotel. So, the OK seems to be... following her, tracking her? What does he plan to do?

It appears jabroni may have prematurely discovered the twitter account, hence why it was locked. Two things I've just noticed - on the rainisfalling page, the piece of paper at the top has an anagram of "perfect folds"; and, in the water, some letters appear and stay. Just single letters, it seems. The last one might be a bug though.


Alright, enough rambling... I'm gonna go catch some z's. Hopefully this has progressed a little when I wake up, but not too much!

 		Turns out, if you invert the background color, you can see the face of madison on the first part of the film, and the word "HATE" on the origami.

I have included the inverted image in the attachments.

Oh and there are already tweets on the Perfect folds account, Ill be checking those out later.
