Sudden questions

On the verge of his new update, I have rejuvenated my old Unfiction account from my Cloverfield days (I think I used it like twice, discovered the last In Game website though!), and ask some questions that have been bothering me.

I just got on board with this about 2 weeks ago when a Slenderman article popped on Knowyourmeme.com
as soon as I saw an Arg for it, and saw the Unfiction name linked, I was on board.
Anyway, the house he visits in his videos, it's Brian's right?
Why is Brian so significant to Jay? and why hasnt he mentioned going to Alex's house? I can't help but feel like these things HAVE been addressed but I just dont remember or haven't stumbled across that information.
And I dont feel like tunneling through all the old threads, using the search, etc, im a lazy man.

What is the significance of Brian other than him being a friend of Tim, who may be Masky? Why does Jay go to his house first, and not Alex's? To interview him or something? Hey! Wow, I think I just answered my own question. But still...he didnt seem to mind breaking and entering for the sake of an interview.
I suppose, since this is years after Marble Hornets, perhaps other people live in Alex's house and the other houses.
bah, oh well, hopefully their story telling abilities will get better soon.

Would just like to bring that up for discussion so I can move on and stop thinking about it, the whole Brian thing feels out of place and random.

Makes you wonder why Brian's house specifically got trashed and nobody moved into it afterwards, though. o.o

Someone DID move in, how do you think it got trashed? Masky, ToTheArk, Slendy, Alex, whoever was hiding out there.

Something that intrigued me, was that there seems to be a little bit of stress put on Brian and Tim's friendship.
See, I've always thought that maybe Alex wasn't the first member of the cast Slendy was stalking, so who knows? I've wondered if maybe Slendy hasn't been picking them off one by one.
Alex--->Brian--->Tim--->Jay?
I dunno.

Well, I mean somebody moving in LEGALLY... nobody seems to think that Masky == Brian, and I'm not sure that I'd believe that either, but where is Brian all this time, in that case? It just seems unlikely to me that somebody wouldn't notice that the house was abandoned and condemn it or tear it down or something.

...And if it's part of a townhouse complex (though I suppose that's a completely OOG assumption) then you'd think that the neighbors would be pissed at all the wifin' in the club etc. XD

Its a theory thats been mentioned before I'm sure, though I personally don't think its true. For a start we've never seen Slenderman actually stalk anyway one else - his presence in all of the entries (except the latest, I'll get to that later) has been when Alex has been around, he's only ever followed Alex to his house, to the filming sites, etc.

Second, the only linking possible "symptoms" of being stalked are the sickness, and memory loss;
Tim and J both are sick, but Alex is not, so that cannot be a symptom of Slenderman stalking.
J and Alex both have memory loss, however;

J has only had memory loss on the following occasions:
Entry #17: Slenderman was present because he was stalking Alex, explaining J's memory loss without necessarily meaning he was being stalked.
Entry #19: Slenderman was present (see Return - those are J's missing three hours) but seemed more interested in Masky/ToTheArk (who may oe may not be the same person) who seemed to have kidnapped J. Again Slenderman's presence does not directly mean he was stalking J in this case
Entry #23: The latest, J was snooping around and J was taken to Slenderman, presumably he was confronted because he was looking too much into it, as we never had any evidence that Slenderman brought Alex to him while he was stalking him - rather, SM followed Alex, so it doesn't seem to fit.

All in all, although it does seem at first that SM may have stalked more than one person/other people than Alex, its actually hard to make that fit with the facts. Wink

It could just as easily be that SM was stalking the others, but there is no footage of it. Slendy is viewed by all of 'em a couple of times, and there are long bouts of time in Jay's footage-watching in 'Act I' where nothing happened. This could be because Slendy was stalking someone else at that point. Making the circuit, as it were.

Of course, that is only speculation. But it sounds like everyone on the team got hit, given Alex's speech about how everyone is gone.

I do agree that the being sick and having memory loss thing is odd, in how no three people experience the same thing. Different symptoms for different folks?

And on a different topic, for those 'tards who keep bitching about how Jay should have brought a weapon: he tried that the second time he went to the house and was attacked by Masky. The knife he brought disappeared. He probably didn't have another one, and it doesn't sound like he's done much to leave his home, so he probably hasn't bought another. Just because he's a nerd doesn't mean he keeps a vault of precious weapons like you do. Razz

Gotta wonder how often Slendy's around when we don't see him...

There is always that. He could be lurking around every corner and then erase our minds, MiB-style, if ever he makes a whoops-up!

IMO Slendy is stalking in entry 23. I don't think J was magically put into where slender man was because Slender Man is the mob boss or something. He was just investigating the house and Slender Man was there.
