I'm new to the ARG thing, its all a bit confusing to me at the moment, but I am fascinated by it all. It seems to engrossing.

My first ARG is Marble Hornets, tonnes of fun and it freaks me the hell out most of the time. I think its the compelling lore which pulls me in, I know where slenderman was created but this structure seems to be so well constructed, and the characters are so well played - I feel compelled to follow the action!

I've been discussing it with my friends and we might be trying out one ourselves in the next few months.

Incidently, I'd be interested in hearing about yours which is coming up (seeing as I live in the midlands, UK, anyway!)

So far I only play when it involves a franchise I love. I get so sucked into them that I put way too much time into it so I have to limit my play to only the ones that really matter to me. Good luck with your ARG, Sarah!

Thanks for that! I am playing Organisation for Protection and Restoration, because I want to experience a game right from the outset. Also, wanting to get into Mercielleux... for the reality based myths. I LOVE these two games, even though I'm a contemporary literature freak in the library. Weird! Very Happy
