I had a really good thought about this earlier, but I kind of forgot with all my GED prep I'm doing. I think it had something to do with the fact that Tim wearing a mask may have led others to wear masks, aka Hoodie.

EDIT: Which adds to/compliments the theory that all of this is "Tim's fault."

I always figured TTA was the masked people's way of communicating with Jay since the masked stopped them from talking normally or something. Not quite sure why they wear them in the first place.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the Operator. I'm not sure, though. In the entry in which Jay goes to the house where Masky attacks him, Tim yells "No!" when Jay tries to take his mask off.

Yeah, something to do with TO, but what exactly? We'll find out later I suppose.

Masks protect your face, just in case ol' Oppy decides he likes yours. Very Happy

That's the best theory I've heard as of yet. xD

I want to make one and sit by my mom's bed until she wakes up, but I'm afraid she'll hit me with the galvanized steel pipe she sleeps with. Should I risk it guys?

You'll be either momless or faceless.

what if the operator wasn't actually "the operator", but was being operated by someone

that someone being totheark

and totheark isn't working with the maskys, rather against them

it's kind of hard to post this because i myself don't even believe it to be true, but thought people might find it interesting.

I love this. It's like a circular theory. You don't know which is the beggining and which is the ending!

And that's all.

*Extra Late:*

I once read a fanfiction in which the author portrayed Tim's first "transformation" to Masky, and they specifically elaborated that when Tim was being controlled by the Operator, he inherited some of his psyche. It basically made him feel (or want to be) unhuman, and that made him think he shouldn't have a face; that it should be "cut away" or hidden. Probably not what most people were thinking, but I liked the idea. Wink
