Just a random theory, but about the pipe, it sorta looks like the slendy doll in it. which made me jump to a random theory that Slendy is the doll. When he doesn't want to be his full huge self he transforms into the doll.

And since I'm wildly speculation, I think that when Slendy is in doll form that is when masky appears. Masky is the essence of all the children that Slendy has claimed. In this video Masky seems very childlike, peering around the door, leading J on a circle through the same room, sneaking to his house and just cuddling with him.

So going from there, I say that Slendy is the tracker and the devourer, he hunts for souls that he can steal and absorb into his masky persona, and masky is what he uses when he needs to interact with the real world. In a sense this fits the slendy storyline about him usually targeting children. They were weak souls that he didn't need to physically manipulate to get control of, but they weren't strong enough so after he collected enough he started focusing on older souls like alex, and he uses masky to help wear down the souls so that slendy can absorb them.

[/random theory theatre]

But I own one of those dolls!! Shocked

With Slenderman, there are no rules.

Maybe Masky is Jay from the future.

Think about it; Masky seems to actively try and keep J from going to the house. He also feels the need to cover his face while doing so.

Perhaps future J wanted to keep present J from coming into contact with Slendy, but after J went back a third time, it was too late, and future J left the mask for present J to claim.

It sounds far-fetched, but it makes sense. I think time travel actually fits quite well in this story.

Why not simply go back in time again to try to stop him again? Flaw.

Just because he doesn't do something logical doesn't mean it's not right. By that logic, you could say,

"I went for a walk.
I saw someone get mugged.
I don't agree with mugging.
I didn't stop the mugging.
Ipso facto, the mugging never happened/I didn't go for a walk."

Does time travel cause seizures?

Also:

[aside from the weird, shopped looking abnormality that appears between the camera and the hand]

Slendy typically doesn't have fingers/human-like hands in the other entries, does he?

Well there is the rule of two time travel theory, you can only ever be in a place twice, once going through it the first time, and another going back. because theoretically if you go back a second time and accomplish what you failed to do the first time, you no longer needed to go back the second time because you accomplished what you needed before you decided to go back, so you don't go back which causes you to not succeed and a time paradox is created.

...I just got into this tonight... Watched all up until this last one. And now that I'm home, alone, in the dark, I can't watch it... But from what I hear this is getting seriously messed up..

Anyone else notice that the doll is pointing in different directions through parts of the video? Jay seems to be following it. Could it be that the doll is... Perhaps a sort of warning for him? The doll lying down where we first meet Masky, then pointing for Jay to go into the bathroom, where he sees Masky's reflection in the mirror, possibly saving his life. As we know, EFG can be violent.

It's odd how our suited, slender friend is merely screwing with J in an "LOL GOTCHA" fashion. Is he truly the antagonist?

And another thing. Perhaps Environment #22 is "The House" in the future? The broken furniture leads me to believe this.

Edit: At 6:51, we once again hear Slendy's supposed "hello" just before the distortion.
