Faye was swinging her legs, perched next to Terrence, when she saw Mia's eyelids twitch. She frowned, squinting. Am I imagining things now? I do still have a fever...

Suddenly, Mia coughed, curling up on her side, blood dripping out of her mouth. Faye leapt to her feet, yelling, "Terrence! Look, look at Mia!" Cool relief, undertoned with panic, kept Faye running, even though splitting pains were rolling up her back and radiating from her head. The ground churned under her feet, but she managed to stay upright, stumbling slightly, grabbing at the med pack she still had strapped around her waist.

Tripping a few feet from Mia, she slid to a stop next to the coughing woman, thinking, Alright, good, she's concious enough to realize she needs to clear the blood out of her system. Pushing Mia's black hair out of her face, she realized Mia's eyes were slowly opening, and she was struggling to stop coughing.

Digging into the first aid supplies, she twisted her upper body towards Terrence, feeling several of the cuts on her back split open. Grimacing, she faltered for a second before saying, "Terrence, bring me the water bottle under the seat, please."

Having caught sight of Mia's movements as well, blue eyes widening in shock and something akin to horror, the man lurched up out of his seat. Now, with Faye frantically motioning for him, he lurched up calmly and brought the water bottle, handing it off to her and breathing outward, softly.

"J-just for the recod, I think the other will b-b-be fine...especially c-considering Mia seems to have come back from the d-dead..." Terrence chuckled at his own, off-kilter joke, but blushed a bit when he realized it may niot have been quite appropriate.

He was still adjusting to the whoe 'socializing' thing.

Bending down over Mia, the delicate-manenred man nudged her onto her back gently, and tore down the middle of her shirt so as to examine her chest for wounds. Thinking not for the implications, he poked around, one finger pressed to his lip curiously.

"Sh-she seems alright...not wounds except for a l-lot of bruising and some head trauma...."

((nd terrence doesn't understand the awkwardness of this....xD))

Faye's eyes went huge when Terrence just suddenly tore the middle of Mia's shirt, straight down the center.

He was poking at her chest, one finger on his lip, while Faye looked away, turning a delicate red, as Terrence said, ""Sh-she seems alright...not wounds except for a l-lot of bruising and some head trauma...."

Coughing awkwardly into her sleeve, Faye edged forward, careful to keep her eyes on Mia's face. Blush steadily deepening, the red hue incredibly obvious against her pale skin, Faye unwound Kate's jacket from around her middle, hissing in pain as her back's throbbing worsened, sliding the jacket off. Nearly a tomato red at this point, Faye nudged Terrence aside, throwing the jacket over Mia's torso, scrupulously avoiding looking at her bare skin.

Taking the water bottle, she wriggled her arms under Mia's back, grunting as she strained to tug Mia into a sitting position without causing her pain. She bit her lip as her back twinged, but finally managed to pull her upright, pressing the water bottle to Mia's lip. "Mia, hey, can you hear me? I need you to drink some water, and spit out all the blood you can, okay, sweetie?"

While undoing his ponytail David sat up in the seat due to all the commotion outside.

"Wuz goin' on guys?" David said tiredly, getting un-memoryfucked makes a man tired.

Terrence didn't seem to understand what was going on, other than that Mia was hurt and so was Faye. He helped as best he could while Faye nursed the other woman back to health, and rubbed his neck after a while, glancing nervously around.

"Faye...? You are ve-very red, is something wrong...?" His blue eyes were full of complete innocence and naivity, for the first time since he had met the group. This was not terrence the calculating fighter, this was Terrence the child.

"P-Perhaps it is best you not exert yoruself s-s-so much while injured yoruself...we c-can have Gavin and K-Kate help when they get back..."

Faye looked up at Terrence, her blush creeping further out over her face. Stammering slightly, she said, "Well....usually it's not okay for a woman's....uhm....well....chest...to be bared. Especially when...uhmm..." she cleared her throat, stuttering a few times before continuing, "When a u-uh...man is around."

Faye was nearly besides herself with embarassment, so she ducked her head, glad she'd left enough hair on the sides of her face to hide it from view.

"P-Perhaps it is best you not exert yoruself s-s-so much while injured yoruself...we c-can have Gavin and K-Kate help when they get back..."

Faye grinned a bit at this, then murmured quietly, "I owe it to you guys to make myself useful...I haven't been too helpful so far."

Seeing David climbing out of the car, she gave him a nod, noticing his hair wasn't in it's typical ponytail.

"So whats going on here?" David asked. "I got this massive headache so i don't remember much of what happend after i lit mr. tall man on fire."

David looked at Faye for a while. Some hair was partially covering his face.I'm not used to having it like this.I think nows a good time for her to ask whatever it is she wanted to ask. "Did you want to ask me something earlier?" he finally said.

Gavin was still running when he saw everyone move to Mia. He stopped dead in his tracks Mia must've been in a lot of pain but she was alive. He ran over and Faye was kneeling beside her. He began crying tears of joy. Thank you so much god. Faye was trying to do too much. He knelt down to Mia's face.

"Mia I'm going to carry you to the car. There's no other option He's coming. He picked her up and began taking her to the car. It's not that she was heavy, but he was a high schooler.

"Alright guys let's move before he comes back."

Mike suddenly learned why mixing sketchy pills and vodka was a bad idea. He suddenly felt the urge to use the restroom which, given his sight issues was hard enough as it is, but when he told his legs to stand they performed a mockery of the simple motor action required.

"Ouh Nooe...thash...note...gude..." Mike slurred. "Ough Gaoud...Ahhh cann't schpeak!"

Suddenly tripping balls, Mike knew he wasn't going to make it to the bathroom. Rather, he felt along the wall next to him and came across a window. Feeling around, he managed to open it up and proceeded to relieve himself.

"Ahh'll need tuuu 'pologize lata..." Mike mumbled to himself.

Mia, still coughing and struggling to keep her eyes open, saw Faye and Terrence run over to her. There was a sudden ripping sound and a slight breeze on her chest, then she felt herself being poked. She blinked a few times, waking herself up more. She heard Gavin say he would carry her to the car, and something about someone coming. She nodded slightly, and with effort, pushed herself into a sitting position. She looked down. Her shirt was ripped open. Blood was still dripping out of her mouth, but slowly. It was getting easier to breathe.

"He," she said, attempting to ask "Who's he" but unable to manage the first word.

Gavin looked stopped. He was going to be blunt and maybe hurt her but he couldn't help it.

"The monster that almost killed you." He smiled grimly. Yet he was very happy even with there lives at stake. Mia was alive and they had a chance

Mia tilted her head up to look at Gavin, reaching towards the back of her neck to feel the wound.

"don't remember," she said. "who is he?"

"The slenderman. And if we don't keep moving then he's going to come back to finish the job. I nearly lost you once and I'm not losing you again."

He knew what he said was cheesy but it was the truth. His group. No, his family. He'd nearly lost one of them. He wasn't going to let that happen again.

"Come on guys lets get in the car and start driving." He looked ahead and saw David holding his head and saying something. He smiled. "How long did you wanna keep us waiting?"

"'kay," Mia mumbled. She tried to stand up but fell back down.
"where is he," she said, her voice getting stronger. "where is Mike?"

David climbed into the drivers seat and turned over the engine. "All right everyone hop in. I know a place by here we can hole up, i already radioed the overseer where its at."
