David wolf whistled, "That sure is a nice Tatto you got there corporal," He said as he put emphasis on the sure. That sure was some good timing i got. "How long did it take to get done?"

Kate glanced back and smiled. "Ha, let's just say, a while," she chuckled, putting on her tank top. "Mm," she hummed, smiling, her clothes were so warm now.

"Thanks for the shirt again," she said to him, putting on his AC/DC shirt. It was nearly perfect. It was comfortable, too, so that got her happy. "Sweet."

Jake's brain finally kicked into gear and he laughed, looking down at himself. "Seems like clothes are scarce, yeah." He laughed again, then pulled out a bag of chips, offering them to Mia. "Hungry?"

Faye had turned to let Kate change, and started to leave, but before she could get all the way out the door she ran headfirst into David, who was talking to Kate. Opening her mouth, Faye forgot what she'd wanted to say as she noticed David was shirtless.

"Hey watch where your going will ya?" David looked to see who it was, "Oh hey there Faye," he said while slightly blushing, "hows it goin'?"

Mia smiled again. Jake was cute. He seemed to be a little more put-together now. "Sure, thanks," she said, taking some chips. "So Gavin seems to have a huge crush on your sister," she said, crunching the chips. "You ok with that?'

Mike had, after being ditched, just kinda idled in the laundy room. He didn't idle well, however, so he did what came natural. He removed his pack, limbered up a bit, then flipped upside down next to a wall, and started doing push-ups. He figured Mia would be ok to keep an eye on the kid with a mouth. He knew more than anyone here she can crack a skull when she needed too. He watched the awkward conversation with what could be the two youngest (Since Mia isn't sure how old she is.) of the civis and smiled to himself. "Aww, young civi awkwardness. Least she has a nerd-tat." he mumbled to himself quietly.

Switching gears when Mia mentioned food, he held Natasha out at arms length and, after a few moments, felt the burn on his muscles. Jake evidently followed her. He thought nothing of it.

Switching gears again, he started doing some yogo poses (YEAH, YOU HEARD ME! They help me strech after a good workout.) Suddenly Kate and David walked by and Kate walked out with an AC/DC shirt. "Whatever. I like old-school Metallica better." he mumbled quietly. Then, Kate evicted the civis and he got an eye-full of tatoo and female bits before he realized what was happening. He turned a little red and egressed the f**k out before she noticed and kicked his a**. "You know, food does sound nice. Maybe I should head over to Gavin's and see if they have more booze. Could be useful to make fires..." He thought. "Anyone wanna head to Gavin's for a food/booze run?" he asked.

Andrew stood still slightly wet by the front door. Glancing from the guy probably about his age on the couch to the kitchen door. It seemed that this Mia person didn't trust him. Truth was he liked Mia.

They were both very similar and because of that he annoyed her. He chuckled slightly. I'm liable to get a punch in the gut if I keep ragging her on though...oh what the hell?

He walked into the kitchen and saw Jake leaned in and Mia surveying his face. Probably for bruises, but Andrew would play along.

"Yeah, I don't even really need to say anything about this." he walked out of the kitchen saying, "Have your fun you two." he smirked. I'm up 2 to 1 now.

"Are you just bored, or is there a reason you keep trying it interrupt?" Mia called after Andrew, smirking slightly. She knew she probably wouldn't get a response.

She turned back to Jake. "Anyway, yeah, Gavin and Faye," she said. She raised her eyebrows at him, and then shivered. "It's cold," she muttered. She hadn't found a towel to try off with and her hair and clothes were still somewhat wet from the rain.

Jake scowled at the new kid....Andrew, yeah that was his name. The kid's attitude grated on his every nerve.

"Anyway, yeah, Gavin and Faye,"

Still scowling at the now-absent Andrew, Jake looked back at Mia, contemplating his answer. "Well...being her older brother, I s'pose I'll always have a thing against boys that are eyeing her but....Gavin's better than most of the guys I've seen around Faye before. " Jake yawned, absentmindedly itching his bandage with one hand. "But, I wish the kid luck with getting Faye to notice he has a crush on her. Faye's a bit...oblivious to everything of that subject."

Jake snickered a bit before adding, "Though I guess I'm going to have to have a 'threatening big brother' talk with Gavin, eventually..." He trailed off as Mia shivered, realizing it was quite cold, and she was still fairly soaked. "Cold? We should probably find you a towel or something, before you catch pnuemonia."

"How's it goin'?"

Faye muttered to herself, not sure how to react to her childhood friend, who was shirtless. Stuttering, she took a moment to compose herself and quell her blush before saying, "As good as it can go with a couple of monsters in the woods, D." She grinned at him, then squeezed past him through the door, intending on finding something to do.

"Anyone wanna head to Gavin's for a food/booze run?"

Faye trotted towards Mike's voice, calling, "Well, if you're decently clothed now, I'll come with you, Mike." She'd already strapped her pistol back on, and she didn't feel the need to retrieve her FAMAS from the Suburban yet.

Mia laughed a little at his answer. "That's true, I guess," she said. "And yeah... I should dry off. You too," she said, pointing to his hair. "Actually you know... I'm pretty tired. You took a nap, didn't you? Where? I should sleep, head injuries aren't easy to run around with." She laughed again and yawned.

Jake smiled fleetingly, then said, "You know that room you got your new clothes from? Across the hallway, there's a room with a nice queen sized bed. I was sleeping in there. S'quite comfortable, actually." He rubbed his wet hair ruefully, then added, "I'm gonna go find a towel. Possibly beat up that Andrew kid out of sheer boredom." Laughing to himself, Jake trotted towards the front rooms, looking for a linen closet or something, anything with some sort of towel.

Mia giggled. "Yeah, he is kind of mouthy," she said, following him and shrugging. "I should dry off before I go to sleep..." she said, voice drifting off. She suddenly felt incredibly dizzy again. The room swam in front of her. She couldn't focus and she felt herself falling. "Ah..Jake..help," she said, voice barely audible. She fell forward, reaching out at his arm but only managing to brush the tips of his fingers as he walked away. She collapsed on the ground, shaking, not knowing what was happening.

"Ah..Jake..help,"

Jake's hearing had barely registered the soft whisper, and as he'd started to look back at Mia, he'd felt her fingers barely brush his. "Ah, shit!" Jake dropped to the ground next to Mia, who was shaking uncontrollably, seemingly unable to stand.

After a moment's hesitation, Jake picked Mia up off the ground, hauling himself onto his feet, yelling, "Guys, something's up with Mia! Help me out here!" Jake loped into the living room, towards the couch, his injured arm burning slightly. He was careful not to knock Mia on anything as he walked, and when he reached the couch, he carefully deposited her on it, noticing her eyes seemed unfocused. "Hey, Mia, can you hear me?"

"Guys, something's up with Mia! Help me out here!"

Faye had been walking towards Mike when she heard a slight thudding noise, and then Jake yelling something about Mia. Blood running cold, Faye changed directions, heading towards Jake's voice. Skidding to a stop in the living room, Faye could see Mia, shaking, on the couch, her eyes dilated. Jake was kneeling next to the couch, obviously trying to get a response out of the girl. "Mia, if you can hear me and Jake, has this ever happened before?"

Faye walked over as fast as she was able, but she stood a few feet away from the couch, not wanting to crowd Mia unless necessary. Plus, Jake was doing a good job taking care of her. Guess he did pick up some First Aid skills from what I told him over the phone this year... Faye grinned to herself, then added, Plus, it probably helps that he's totally got a crush the size of Texas on Mia, doesn't it?
