Mike nodded to Terrence, happy to see the taller man up and moving around again. He whispered, "Hey, Kate found Dave's clothing stash. You might wanna shower, too. We been at this for a while and some of us, myself in particular, were starting to stink."

He heard Faye's rustle and turned an eye over there. Seeing her settle back in, he relaxed. The rather gruff Mike was trained a little in other ways of relaxation. His eyes stopped blinking again and his breathing slowed to deep breathes. He slipped into a reverie, not as restful as sleep as he was still aware, but enough of a rest to let his mind wander.

Gavin and Andrew had walked off before the Mia incident. They were outside taking a walk. As the youngest of the group Andrew wanted to talk.

"So Gavin, can you explain to me better what the situation in this crazy town is? I don't feel like I'm getting a good idea."

Andrew enjoyed the rain against his face. It felt very soothing.

Gavin put his hands over his head as he ran under a tree. He had just gotten dry when Andrew motioned him outside.

Geez, this is crazy. New people are coming from everywhere.

Then he heard Andrew's question. He was a little confused as for what to say.

"Well look here's how it is," Gavin began with a sigh. "The monster came to this town and it was supposed to be evacuated. My family and I were in this neighborhood outside of town. I came home to find...... well I'm sure you saw." he paused getting himself together. "It got me, but took me to the forest where most of the group was. The military failed, as I expected they would at stopping it. So we're trying to get out of here with our lives."

Gavin and Andrew looked at each other for a full minute until Gavin smiled and said,

"Can we please go back and get out of this damn rain?"

Kate heard a thud and a bunch of concerned voices from downstairs, making her quickly walk down the stairs. She saw Faye and Jake tending to Mia, who seemed to have passed out or something. Something about the Tall One was said, something about that it's not him, and then everyone dispersed slightly.

Missed it? Everyone looked tired as hell and most seemed to want to go to sleep. She saw Terrance, in all his white-haired glory, wander around, get spoken to by Mike, and looked like he was going to head upstairs. Andrew and Gavin left the house. Good, strength in numbers.

"Hm," she hummed, grabbing her rifle from where she last left it. She strode over to Jude and the Overseer, who seemed to still be out of it, looking out a window. He's still preoccupied?! She shook her head and leaned back against the wall, watching those who were going to sleep. "Sorry that I took so long, Jude, though, as you could tell, I took a shower. Oh, and, asked David for a shirt," she said, sighing. "I needed that...so, what brings you here? You seemed to have come from out of town..."

David was sniffing around in the fridge trying to sort out the rotten food from the... not so rotten. "Damn, wierd how the town only got evaced two days ago but there's som much rotted food in here. Looks like we have to eat squirrel steaks afterall."

He looked towards the living room and saw several sleeping bodies, "Shit, if I didn't see them breathing i woulda sworn they were dead." David shivered at that thought.

Kate saw Jude about to speak but noticed Mike out of the corner of her high. "Hold that thought," she said, getting up and walking over the Private First Class.

Hm, she thought, wondering on how to wake him up. He was supposed to be guarding everyone, he shouldn't be sleeping on the job.

"La, la-la, la, la," she smirked, moving in front of him, setting the gun down. She leaned closer to him, knowing that he got flustered around her. What if she gave him all her attention?

And at such close proximity! She grinned maniacally. Evil Kate. She poked him once, but that didn't seem to do anything so she blew air in his face, making the creepiest grin she could.

((Kate's evil. I half expect Mike to go "AHHH!" *PUSH.*))

"zzz...zzz..." Mike fell asleep as he is no monk. Sure he knew a few techniques but is was still a muscle-head. Mike got poked. He just kinda grunted. Sudden cold air on his face, however, started him awake. HE opened his eyes to see a creepy face mere inches from his. "AUGHH!!!" he said, jumping up and shoving the thing away. Unfortunately for Mike, he was not shoving a guy...

David sneezed loudly, "How long has this shit been here." He said while poking a piece of mold green meat. "Who feels like squirrel burgers?" He asked to anyone who could hear him.

Kate felt her butt smack the floor suddenly after she saw Mike wake up. She groaned a little and rubbed her lower back. "Ouch, bastard," she grumbled. She looked up to see Mike with his hands still in the air in a certain way that made her look down at her shirt. It was rumpled and not in an area she liked to be touched.

As they came to the front door Andrew was stopped by Gavin. He whispered low in Andrew's ear.

"Don't you ever talk to Faye like you did in the garage again." Most guys would've talked back but Andrew merely smiled and said, "Looks like someone has a crush."

He grabbed the doorknob and flung the door open making a lot of noise coming in.

"We're back!"

As Andrew went ahead Gavin stood rooted to the spot. How many people knew he liked Faye? Was he really being that obvious?

He finally looked back as Andre made a lot of noise coming in. He smiled.

"Very discreet. You should try becoming a ninja."

David ran to where he heard a loud thump, he saw Kate on the floor and Mike standing with his arms in the air like frankenstein, "Looks like you guys are having some fun without me." He chuckled as he leaned in the doorway.

"...Oh s**t oh s**t oh s**t..." Mike thought. "Umm...sorry, Kate...I'm...I'm just a little jumpy..." Mike said, his nose leaking a little bit of blood.
