"Just..." She sighed, rubbing her head. "Just help me up, and stop sleeping on the job," she muttered, extending her hand out for him.

After he had helped her up, she poked him hard in the face as small payback, mainly because she didn't want to do the equivalent of him touching her chest.

"As I've told my squad mates before, looky-looky, no touchy-touch," she stated firmly, keeping a serious face.

"Hey, I can't help it that you scared the s**t outta me." he said, wiping the blood from his face. Beet red he turned his back to her and said, "Besides, I wasn't sleeping. I was...just resting my eyes. And..." he added, "You touched me first! I felt you poke me...I just...thought I imagined it."

"Oh, so you're afraid of little old me?" she smirked, poking him again. "And are you blushing?" she chuckled, seeing him turn beet red.

"Calm down, soldier, I'm not gonna kill ya!"

"'Course ya ain't! I'm far to strong for ya!" he said spinning around, with a mock-fighter pose. "'Sides...ya just caught me off guard. Prolly gonna wake the civis. Although...I am kinda hungry. I was gonna head over to Gavin's to get some food and some excellerants...fire seems to be our friend when that motherf**king, blank-faced, b**tard sonavab**ch shows up and I only have a couple incendiary grenades."

"I'll come with, I'm sure David can keep watch of the civvies while we're gone for a bit, right, sir?" she asked, addressing the man. "Nice tat."

Kate let out a giggle, yes, a giggle, when David said that. "Thanks for the ego booster," she chuckled. She realized then the new kid and the old kid were here. "Oh, hey, you two, either get some rest or help David watch the rest," she ordered them, picking up her gun from the floor.

Kate suddenly had a thought and grumbled. "Why didn't I think of that...hey, David, mind grabbing my uniform jacket and putting it into the washing machine? Make sure you take off my rank and tabs from it before hand," she smiled.

"Wanna head over to Gavin's then?" she asked Mike.

((Mike, Kate, and Dave are all in the back, in the bedroom.))

"Psh...ain't a man...or woman," he said glancing over at Kate, "alive that can take me single-handed." He didn't quiet believe that but he sure ain't gonna admit that to everyone that a girl can pwn him in a fight. "Yeah, lets go."

"We'll have to find that out sometime," smirked Kate, smirking at him confidently. "Let's go."

Gavin walked ahead as Andrew sat on the couch and fell asleep. He sat on the floor as quiet as possible and had both of his magnums ready in his pocket. They were all sleeping.

What's going on when did it become nap time? he puzzled. He looked at all the peaceful faces. Except for Mia. She looked troubled. What did they miss in the five minutes they had left to talk. He of course was focused on Faye. She'd had a tough day worrying about everyone. Gavin fell asleep too barely knowing about it.

Mike and Kate headed out. Mike nodded at the high schoolers on the way out making sure to grin evilly at Andrew. After crossing the street and gaining access Mike was over come at what he could only have guessed was once Gavin's parents.

"WHAT...THE F**K?!?!" he screamed. He had seen action before but was not prepared for this type of carnage. "That poor little b**tard...no wonder he was sad earlier...You know about this, Kate?"
