Faye grinned at Gavin blindly, Jake's hand still over her eyes. Laughing, she told him, "Yeah, I can imagine years from now, there will be whole books dedicated to treating trauma due to nakedmikeitis."

Pushing Jake's hand off her eyes, she smiled innocently at Gavin, giving Jake's hand one squeeze before letting it go.

"Eeee! I don't care," Mia giggled as Jake's hand covered her eyes as well. "He's gone now anyway!" She laughed, reaching up and trying to pry his hand away.

"Hey," greeted Kate, bracing herself against the wall as Mike almost ran into her. "Uh, look, this is...kinda hard for me to say...I...I know you can be a meat head at times...and kinda idiotic, unthinking when it comes down to things...but, I..."

She debated on what to say. So, she did the only thing that she thought could summarize her thoughts.

Katherine grabbed his collar, pulled him down to eye level, and gave him a stare before pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "You can be pretty nice and thoughtful," she smiled, blushing a bit.

Gavin returned the smile. Innocent or not it was a bright smile to him.

Then he hesitated. "I gotta ask. What would YOU have done if you were in my shoes there!?!"

Blue eyes scanning coldly over the room, a lanky figure walked down the steps, grumbling to himself a bit. He looked down, picking at his clothes; a black, male tank tp and a pair of jeans that didn't quite reach his ankles. He cursed his height.

Then he peered up, seeing his pseudo family laughing raucously in a pile of happiness. He saw Gavin running wildly through the house, Faye and Kate giggling like mad, and Mike....

Terrence blushed and looked away. He wasn't planning on seeing that.

Fighting the urge to do some rather innappropriate things that he had never even considered in his past life, the white-haired man finished walking down the steps in his new clothes, and turned to the rest of the group.

"Um...wh-what's going on...?" He earnestly tried hard to hide his red face without laughing.

Jake smirked as Mia tryed to pull his hand down, only allowing her to do so after he'd ruffled her dark hair. He tugged her hand down off his own face, adding, "Well I wouldn't KNOW he's gone, you were blocking my view, Mia."

His face turning more serious, Jake asked Mia quietly, "I didn't want to bring it up when everyone was laughing but....did you see that blood on Kate's hands when she came in?"

Faye giggled a bit, then thought for a second, before replying, "I probably would've cried a bit, then just passed out. Mike's intimidating enough fully clothed, it'd just be worse naked..." She gave an exaggerated, joking shudder, before smiling at him again, scruffing the short hair at the back of her head habitually.


Her eyes fixed on Terrence, who had shown up at the foot of the stairs, wearing new clothes. His face was red, as he inquired as to what was going on. She grinned at him, then told him, "Well, Gavin had a nightmare about several naked Mike's chasing him, then Mike decided to reinact it..."

Mike was dumbfounded. He didn't really have much experience with girls. Sure, sometimes they would hang out in the barracks in groups with the rest of the guys but nothing personal. Girls were foreign, squishy, and he didn't fight them, so he knew next to nothing about them. Aside from turning beet red again, he lost all ability to speak coherently.

"Uh...I...uhh....we should...um..." Mike tried to think of something but nothing came. Thinking to himself, "I really am just a meat head grunt."

Remmy woke up.

*cough *cough

All that came up was blood. He couldn't remember anything from the other night, only the racoon, and firing the gun.

He reached up and felt his nose.
"AHHHRGH!" he screamed, as pain ripped through his body. Grabbing a nearby stick, he put it in his mouth, bit on it, and ripped his nose to one side. All he felt was pain, and he quickly broke the stick in his mouth. Crying as he sat up, he surveyed the rest of himself, and did a quick system check. He noticed that his hands felt as though a brick had been thrown at him, and he used them to block them, and that his left wrist may have been broken. Other than that, he seemed to be fine. He grabbed the Deagle, and threw it into his pack. Then he followed the road he was on, toward what appeared to be town.

Blushing a little still, Katherine asked, "You...okay?" Surprised by her own actions, she didn't realize that she was still holding onto his collar, forcing him to stay at eye level with her.

Why'd I do that? Why couldn't I just say, 'Oh, you're nice,' but noooooo! What the hell?! GAH! she screamed inside her head.

Mia blushed and smiled as he ruffled her hair. Hearing him ask about the blood, she grew serious and nodded. "I saw it, yeah," she said quietly. "What do you think they were doing? They would have said if they found someone, or if either of them got hurt...."

Mike smiled a little, "Uh...yeah, ya just, uh...just kinda startled me is all."

Not really knowing how he was expected to react he managed the only thing he could think of "That...was...pretty sweet of you to say. Thanks."

Mike wondered to himself..."Do I kiss her? Was that a friendly kiss? Was that..." about 500 other similar questions flew through his mind as fast as he could process them.

Awkwardly pacing himself around the cennter of the room where Mike stood naked, with Kate, the short, white-haired man stood nervously beside Faye, watching the proceedings of their little family. It seemed Kate had taken something of an...interest...in Mike. The blue eyed man glanced around, never having encountered romance before.

Certain things had never been afforded to him during his lfie watching the Tall One massacre many. One of those things was the much needed human outlet for certain...frustrations, which he had never experienced before. Now, he was beginning to have second and third thoughts about this decision.

But this was certainly not something to burden the rest of the family with.

He managed to join in their laughter, finally, as the situation was quite comical, even to him. And Gavin had finally snapped out of his depressed trance, laughing and smiling again. He was happy. He considered Gavin something of a little brother, as he considered Faye a caring sister.

Standing their, his face flushed and his cheeks hot, he hoped no one would notice, although somewhat wondered if Faye would care, were she to find out about Terrence's little...interest.

David walked up o the bathroom to use the facilites when he saw Kate and Mike. Seeing that made him quickly get out of sight before they could see him and run to the garage to do angry pullups.

Katherine let out an awkward chuckle, a giggle even, thinking it was kinda funny. She smiled at him, still red. They both were red.

Gah, this is so awkward. Is he gonna do anything back? she wondered, staring at him a little.

Her hand was just clinging to that collar like it was stuck or something!

Mike still sat there and decided that clearly she expected something from him. Otherwise, she would have let go of his collar. To himself, he thought, "Ok...well...that rules out friendly kiss. I think? Well...I guess I should give it shot. Worst thing is I get beat up in front of my friends by a girl."

Mike closed his eyes and pecked back, then flinched, expected to get smacked.
