He stops a moment and eyes the woods.

"You know, we could make a great bonfire after this s**t is over. Make some smores or some s**t. God I love smores..."

"Perhaps," Came a voice,"the reason there is no wind is because we are in a forest."

Caren had been walking through the camp, evaluating her surroundings when she had heard the conversation. "Trees and things that are solid are notorious for blocking out things such as moving air." Her dull eyes lazily looked about as she finished tying her hair up into a neat sock bun. Two M-9 handguns hung from her hips, safely tucked in their holster, her Carbine also safely strapped onto her side. Oh yeah, she was ready for something. For all she knew she, or one of the other soldiers, were the S-man's next target. She wouldn't go down without a fight.

That's all Bryce could think about. He wasn't sure the tall man was behind him, but he had sensed it when he got to the house, and then... Bryce wasn't quite sure. He had gotten home and that was it. Evrything after that was black, but there were some things that were dim memories. A face, a long arm, and then when Bryce awoke in his house, covered in blood, he saw what he had done.
His parents and sister, all brutally torn open, with some of their organs trailing all over the floor, the rest in plastic bags back in the body. What had he done?


Running, that was all Bryce could do now. The police would certainly be after him, and the only place he could think to hide was in the woods.

Name: Stephen
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Appearance: Brown, long, messy hair, black long sleeve shirt, worn out blue jeans, and boots. His skin is white.
Items/Weapons/Abilities: He only has one weapon and that is a small knife his father gave to him. It's a sharp double edged silver balisong(Butterfly knife).
Bio: Stephen has really lived a normal life, he has a normal family, and he goes to a normal school. He has heard about the disappearances throughout town, and has tried to investigate them, but can't find any clues as to where they may be.

The Tall One stood over the bodies, it's blank face looking down on them curiously. It's head tilted to one side as it lowered itself, almost hunched over one of the bodies. One hand stuck out, grabbing at clothe and tearing it away.

Blood, big chunks of hot RED. Claws tore at flesh and skin, and he grabbed one stray organ, tearing it away from body.

It lifted the thing with a relish, raising so it could look at it in the light. Blood dripped all over the things claws and it threw the part to the ground, drooping over the body as it started it's work.

The Masked One paced near it's master, staring at the doorway anxiously. Blood, blood, blood. There would be more here, more of them. It's fear seemed to reach the Tall One, and the thing directed him, pointing out at the forest.

The Masked One knew what had to be done, and ran outside.

He needed to find the boy.

The Overseer looked over at the two squads, all of them assembled.

"Alright everyone, we all know that the S-Man's been giving us a ton of trouble these last few months, nay YEARS. All teams before us have fallen or failed, because they were held BACK."

"Not today. We've been given orders to eradicate this thing, wipe it out. I want all of you to get all your equipment set, those military flunkies we'll be here any second, and we need to be ready when they are."

"Let's get moving people, we've got a few minutes!"

The S-Walkers sprung into action, scouring the camp for any remaining weapons and equipment. They were about to go into deployment.

Done, the Tall One cradled one of the bodies in his arms. A small one, a child. It threw that one over it's shoulder, a sinewy dark arm seeming to explode out of his middle. It grasped one of the adults, and the thing carried them out of the door.

A small gust of wind blew threw the door, bags on the ceiling blowing in the wind.

It only took a few minutes for one of they're neighbors to discover the find, and to call the police.

It'd started.

Alison blinked, quite possibly unnerved by the 'professional'. "Yeah, I think I'll pass. This place is way too creepy for campfires and sing-alongs. Lack of wind's not a big deal, but this place IS creepy... Never seen fog like this."

She tightened a strap on the carbine, as it had loosened a bit while she laced up her boot. "Just want to get in, and get out... Don't even know what we're here for."

I think we're on the road. Here's what I've gathered so far-

The reinforcements- player characters- are on the way to the squads already at the town. Their mission- destroy S-man and evacuate the town. However the mission is also pretty secretive so not everyone is aware of what's going on. The reinforcements are on their way to the other squads to be briefed.

While this is going on, there are also citizens of the town who are having run-ins with S-man it seems.

What I see as going on, anyway. XD

Ugh, sorry about my posts in the actual RP thread. I didn't notice this.

Anyways, I want to ask, how long has Slenderman been in the town?

He glances towards Caren. "I know all about trees and wind. Hell, spent many'a summer growing up playin' in the woods. Lot more wind then."

He looks back at Alison. "Don't let the fog bother ya none. I've got a fool proof plan. First, we shoot anything that moves. Second, we burn everything in sight, houses, trees, you name it. Third, we shoot anything that moves after that. When that is done, we won. Game over, man."

I honestly thought he'd arrived very recently.

Why does everyone's characters know about Slenderman?

Anyway, thinking the police will find out somehow and help the military.
