One moment Gavin was talking to Mike trying to get him to talk to the others. The next minute he's being shoved out of the factory to be assigned to a group to run with. He had his group though. He shook the guards off and ran over to the others with Mike and David right behind him. Terrence, Faye, Jake, Mia, Tricia, and the new guy were being hurried along with a group of soldiers. They broke free and joined Gavin, David, and Mike.

Gavin looked around. The fog was getting closer. Hell it was only about 80 yards away.

"We have to hurry and get the hell out of here lets go." The fog was drawing closer, then Gavin noticed something a little ways in the fog. A person. Could it be one of "it's" minions.

"Wait here" he said aiming his shotgun and walking forward.

Gavin was startled as a soldier ran out from the fog red-faced. He knew what he had to do though. He motioned her along with his hand.

"C'mon lets get the hell out of here." They were both sprinting as fast as they could. His group was in David's car and they both jumped in after using all there energy. The fog was right behind them.

"Step on it David He's almost here!" The wheels squeeled in protest as David slammed his foot onto the pedal. They were off and away from danger, for now. But how long could they outrun the slenderman? They needed to leave this town.

Kate panted heavily as she landed inside the vehicle, hand clutching her chest as her heart pounded fiercely. She had been starting to tear up because of the pain, from pushing her legs so hard. She was so relieved, even though she wasn't out of the woods yet.

I made it...I... She felt woozy; running for so long without any rest had taken a toll on her. She leaned against whatever was next to her. She was so numb. She didn't know if what she was leaning against was metal or skin. Either way, she didn't care.

"I'm...alive," she panted.

Gavin was panting like crazy. He had tears in his eyes. He had felt "his" presence and believed for a split second that he'd seen him. He felt something on his shoulder and glanced to his left to see the soldier had her head on it. He didn't care. Panting and now crying he spoke.

"He was.....there......only about........50 or less.......yards......"

That was all he could get out. He'd seen the monster up close and felt it's presence. Even the strongest of men would've broken like he had.

"........have......to leave......this town......" that was all Gavin said before blacking out.

Gavin sat there in an unconcious state. His body shaking randomly when in his dreams he saw "him" and was attacked. However, he was not shaking at his death, but the death of others. The SM would kill thousands in his dreams while Gavin had to watch. He didn't fight back when the Slenderman attacked because at that point he'd lost everything in this dream.

His friends. Family seemed to be a better word for this group of people. Family, friends. He'd never had friends. He'd always play alone. He played football, but none of the guys ever talked to him off the field. He was a Sophomore and most of them were Seniors. He was a good quarterback, but nothing else to them. Even while unconcious tears streamed down Gavin's face. Not tears of pain, but tears of joy. He had real friends now. And he knew he had to protect them.

.........Gavin's eyes slowly opened. The car was racing away from the factory. He had no idea if it could outrun the slenderman. He didn't even think of the slenderman. He looked around at his friends. And chuckled. The new edition to the group still had her head rested on his shoulder. He didn't care. He was happy they were all OK

((yeah I know it's cheesy, but that's Gavin. BTW where exactly are we? Was the factory in the woods or are we riding away from town or...... what?))

((Hahaaa I hath returned! Sorry guys, it was a busy weekend for me, but I'm back to constantly refreshing the page XDD. And welcome, Serenity! I THINK we're outside in the forest/fields right now.))

Faye's hands shook on the FAMAS as she ran after Gavin, trembling. Ah shit Ah shit it's right there and those bullets aren't doing ANYTHING Gavin's right we have to move and we have to do it now. She saw most of the group had already reached the vehicle. Legs pumping quickly, she leapt, barely making it into the car. Reached out, she slammed the car door behind her as it sped off.

The jump had stolen the last of her energy. Faye slouched down in her seat, breathing heavily, beyond exhausted. The seat felt particularly comfortable, and slowly Faye slipped into fitful sleep. She dreamt of screaming, gunfire, blood, and a tall thing with no face, silently slipping in and out of the shadows. While she slept, she tossed and struggled in her seat, crying out occasionally and huddling against the door.
