Honestly, guys... there is no problem in adding/following these people. It's no different than following a celebrity you admire. I followed the MH gang to keep track of of future projects. Yeah, I talked to Tim, but he contacted me and not vice-versa. Please don't harass them or even joke about it to them. It's gotta be creepy. Even if you're posting to say "Sorry I was creepy.". Just add them and move on, please. Because you guys are clearly creeping them out.

Have the actors stated explicitly what they wanted? If they post 'please stop asking about Marble Hornets' then you can be pretty sure that the goobers'll get the message.

We've semi-gotten that answer from them. I think that they don't care about other questions, such as what kind of video camera are they using (some guy asked and got a nice reply back from them because he was looking to buy one.), or compliments about the series itself.

It's people going, "DURF HURF HURP, WHO 1S T7A? 1TS AL3X R1GHTS!1!11!1one" that are annoying them.

When you're a famous movie director or whatever, a billion people will ask you questions and interview you. Including about what story you film: even if its a mystery.

they're in film school. unless they are going for shits and DONT want to be an acclaimed movie director, they raelly should deal with it.

So... I don't particularly feel like FB stalking to ask them this, so would one of you?
Now, mind you, I'm not positive whether or not this falls under the "Don't ask about MH" category or not, but I've always been curious:

How's the writing process work? Is it a big collaborative mish-mash or what?
Was the whole series written out ahead of time, or is it planned in between entries?
If it was all written out beforehand, which seems quite likely, are different endings or paths ever allowed for? Er... that last one's confusing, I guess I mean, do they ever change their minds before uploading a new entry and go back to try something else?
Oh and I think the acting's really good, it takes effort to act naturally on camera, how much rehearsal goes into that stuff?
Has the MH cast ever filmed stuff together before?
