Said this in the game discussion thread, but I'm fairly sure J responded to Masky's little home invasion in #19 with saying "totheark knows where I live", no? I doubt each cast member's hair is distinctive enough to identify them individually by it. Besides, if they can make that badass slendy costume, they can use a wig to change their hair.

Dangit I'm wavering between two camps. And I like how we're all having the SAME DISCUSSION in two threads. We should try to solidify at some point. Anyways, I doubt those are two masks. I'm thinking it's the angle or video distortion. And the noses being different could be accounted to changing lighting due to head movement/distortion?

That's... all kinds of wrong. Looking at this from a purely objective view, we have seen absolutely nothing confirming that TTA and Masky are the same person. They're considered separate entities until we actually see proof that they're one in the same.

Okay, here's a theory that'd give the video a point without it being a straight-up reveal of Alex=Masky: What if Alex IS totheark, rather than Masky? Even without postulating who Masky could be if it isn't Alex, this could be totheark/Alex showing that he is 'inside the Slendy fold' now, warning Jay to back the frack off if he doesn't want the same thing to happen to him, or taunting him with the idea that it's too late either way. That could work whether or not Masky is Slendy's cohort, because the panicky Masky look could be because he's been caught, or could be just film school artsy drama.

Or what if TTA isn't Alex at all? What if Alex IS in the slendy fold, still making videos, now of Masky -- again, maybe a kidnapped Masky, or could even be Alex having stuck the Masky mask on someone else (perhaps even Jay)? Then TTA could again be warning Jay. "Look what happened to the last guy who did what you're doing. He went crazy and started making art films!"

None of these are pet theories or anything -- I'm just pointing out that even if this video does seem to lend some support to the Masky = Alex camp, it by no means states it outright.

Is it possible that the audio from Warning and Regards are two layers of the same audio?

[haven't the foggiest damn notion. the half deaf boy sucks at audio.]

Actually, when you think about it, Masky's hair is.....well, sort of big. Too big to be able to slick down thin enough to put a wig on with hair looking like the second pic. and that may make two.

Remember that TTA suggested that Jay's theories couldn't necessarily be trusted, too.

They could just be blurred, I'm thinking. Into the huge patch of grey above the eyes.

And yeah, remember, TTA said you couldn't always trust Jay's judgement.

I can't reverse the vertical motion blur in photoshop, and my computer won't play any video/sound files right now, someone please reverse it using video software.

I don't think that's just from the motion blur.

Also, I think it's an extremely valid point about the hair, and it has nothing to do with the cast members; the characters themselves have different hair.

It does, the distortion just makes them hard to see, look closely and it almost looks as if there are two eyebrows because they're duplicated by the fuzz & motion blur.

Remember these are film students and not full blown actors - as good as their production values are I don't see them intentionally growing a certain hairstyle for their role. Plus we've hardly had a clear enough shot of Masky to examine his hair anyway.
