There's a lot of stuff in those video's. Most of it terribly creepy. I did like that there's a Dwight Schrute quote in the newest vid though.

Yea, I've been trying to slowly click through them on the YouTube video itself, but it's only giving me bits and pieces. Definitely creepy. But right up my alley. I haven't given the blog any attention - anything good in it?

Well, I have not really delved into the blog...
But I can tell you that a rather cursory frame by frame analysis yields some general motifs in the Merveilleux! video.
Death
The colors: Red (particularly red hair) and black

Well in case anyone didn't know, Merveilleux means Marvellous in French.

The blog also mentions butterflies many times. Just in case, butterfly in French is Papillon, so be on the look out for that.

talked to Joachim briefly tonight. He made it clear he has no knowledge of the YouTube account but acknowledges that the blog is his. Weird.

He also hinted that there "might" be some sort of subliminal messages in the videos that I described to him during our conversation. Anyone know of a way to slow them down?
