Through the gates of the silver key is a HP lovecraft book, the previous quote shows up in Call of Cthulhu also a HP lovecraft

-eta: the photos on facebook, the woman is Louise Brooks, and the man is from the movie The Man who Laughs


I suspect I might've jumped to conclusions when it comes to the quotes. Might very-much be significant.

If I combine 'Through the gates of the silver key' with v24, I get a reference to Weirdtales:

About the FB-images. I'm pretty sure the one with the 'Himalaya' desc refers to the Sikh Dharma. The Man who Laughs refers to the German Expressionist Paul Leni.

Reminds me of a minoan snake goddess, but the hat is off.. Possibly need to desteg...

Edit2: Based on the post beneath I'm pretty sure it's Naacal/Mu (link Lemuria again). Image.

Speculation is based on 'The Statement of Randolph Carter' wherin he speaks of the death of Warren.

 		I sent an email to BR about the Silver Key link and got the following reply:

I didn't found any information on a H. Warren Jr., so I dont know if this person is still alive or legitimate. Then again, I have been tricked in the past by Beatrix, so I don't know if it's all a hoax to lure this poor girl into some Machiavellic plan...

I feel there is one step left for us to achieve before the March 1st update, but I need your advice on that:

Should we contact Eleanor to warn her of this situation? I can help myself to recall the fate of this poor Eleanora Plante...

On the other hand, if we don't warn her and keep watching, we could gather valuable information on Beatrix and the latest TBG activities.

In any cases, this decisions would bear consequences.

That is so great to read you! Beatrix Gray is indeed back and this can't be good news. She contacted a girl called Eleanor L. Carter. Here is the initial message:

Another contact of mine manage to find more about this message and uncover a clue on qadhos datastore (datastore.qadhos.com)

Qadhos server also report a schedul remote update for March 1st. So far that's about where we are. I have some unread email, maybe there is new development. If I have anything more, I will contact you right away.

So it looks like I survived the hitlist and am the only one to have done so (OOG: Guessing it was skipped, but hey it works for Ch:4)

All I am gathering from this is exactly what you guys have posted already, is it too simple to say that the 13th day of the sixth Lunar Month is little more than June 13th? Perhaps we should be looking things that happened on that date? We might come to some resolutions there. Here are the things I've found event wise for June 13th.

Also, looking at 2010 - 76 (This year marking the 76th birthday of Eleanor Carter's Grandma) would = 1934.

Looking at the above wiki this is the only thing I could find, relating to 1934

The first e-mail led to the code to get the H.W. Jr. message: 1934-07-24 (the gregorian lunar calendar coversion - 1934 coming from the grandma reference).

I think if there's a year worth looking at it would be 1971 since that's when H.W. posted the message.

 		Going to take a quick jump here.
B.R. implies that there might be some truth to the Lovecraft Silver Key story. So that either means we're looking at another relic chase (the Silver Key that Carter lost) or occult gateways:

Personally I'd like to know more about E.C. before giving her a warning whatsoever. I remember from part I that we contacted B.G. only to find out she was evil in the end. However, that doesn't mean we can't contact E.C.. This would also give us an opportunity to trace what she's up to. So, thoughts?

If you are using the Hebrew calander (which references lunar months) the 6th would be Elul (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elul). The only thing to note of significance on the 13th 9and in the past - as per the note) is the death of Ben Ish Chai (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Ish_Chai)

One thing to note is that if it is using the Hebrew calander, Elul usually falls somewhere in August-September on the Gregorian calander.

 		Hi everyone.. kinda bored here & thought I'd try to jump in. Just a few thoughts..
1- I think the suggestion of another calendar being used is probably right.

 		When using the datastore on qadhos, the background image is slightly different when you input the correct date and retrieve the data. The runes with the silver key passage are slightly yellow, as if highlighted. Hint Hint hint

-btw how can Eleanor Carter be the descendant of Randolph Carter when at the end of TGSK Carter's alien form flees? Its about 1932 when he does that and EC is born 1934, unless of course the arg is the continuation of that story.

 		Yep snorkle, looked into that and e-mailed B.R. about it (first post on page 2).

Meanwhile, received another e-mail from B.R.:

So all good with the qadhos passord, the silver key link etc. But, any ideas on E.C.'s full name?

 		I'm confused. How did we work out that Eleanor Carter was born in 1934? Her Grandmother was born in 1934...

I've found nothing that could lead us to E.C's middle name albeit starting with L... And how would we set a trap, for Barbizon?

 I'm hearing from mutual contacts that the Qhados Key cipher has been worked out and that now you are in two minds about what to do, I've some kind of proposal... Use me as some kind of bait?

It may not be a good plan, but it right now, is the best I can come up with... I am the last surviving TBG Hit and perhaps I could draw them out? Perhaps post somewhere, publically about being alive, still? I don't know.

I also hear through the contacts there's difficulty in finding out the middle name of Eleanor Carter? Her initial being L, correct? What is the importance of finding her middle name?

I'm also for the idea of contacting E.C. but I'd rather get to know more about her before pulling a warning-sign. Currently looking over the stories to see if there's a L character involved or whatsoever.
