 		Clue 8 short walkthrough
SPOILER WARNING
No spoiler bars since that makes the post one big mess.

Since you asked, here we go...;

Clue 8 had a picture of Data from the First Contact (Star Trek Next Generation) movie with another layer on top of what first seemed as binary code. There was also a number: 15 145 097 924.

The number turned out to be a phone number for a company in Montreal called Hemmed Medical Devices (specialised in anasthetics). They have a website as well but it is hardly updated.
Tex was the first to discover the phone number, called it and found out there was the option to dial 1 to leave a message, and dial 2 to send a fax. Tex left a message.

Qadhos intercepted the message:

We have intercepted a voice mail (see attachment) that was sent to this process. I was able to trace down the location of the number, it's an old medical warehouse.


The attached file indeed was the voicemail Tex had left!

Around this time snorkle explained that the 'binary code table' in the background image wasn't just some table, but a facsimile compression table - the kind a fax uses (black/white).

By using the free online service faxzero, drejl sent a fax to the number (514) 509 7924. It was intercepted by Qadhos:

I just received the following from one of my feed. The system did try to send back a response but failed. I manage to intercept it. Looks like the L8 process is active!


The e-mail contained a .pdf attachment with the original fax and a third page that rang: 'connection established with Eleanor. Passkey:'... It contained the code: S02 E11 and an image of the Eye of Ra/Horus.

We had the image of Data to connect the S02 E11 to a Star Trek episode called 'Contagion'.
In this episode the remains and technology of an ancient and legendary race called 'Iconians' was discovered. They built gateways that allowed to travel from one point in the galaxy to another. They were also called star gates.

First X-Files, then Star Trek, and now Star Gate!

Star Gate made sense because of the gateways and the Egyptian theme of the first SG movie (Eye of Ra). When investigating further, Seadevil and migisi found out that there was a race in the Star Gate universe called Tok'Ra... The return of 'Ra' in that phrase made it certain: this was the password.

The end!

 		song is "Tone Loc+Peaches - Wild Thing RMX - RMXXOLOGY"
chacked the lyrics in all the songs, at the beggining they had something to do whith the letters but now it strats to be strange..

also the wiki was changed.
dredj, the glyphs you posted, what are they?

and umm.. we dont know yet what is bobbys/ELCs mission in dreanlands, any clue what they are searching for? and what aboug BG?

 		Started rereading 'Through the Gates of the Silver Key' I read it back in the late 80s along with of all th eHP Lovecraft Omnibuses. All three books are somewhat worn and tattered through much rereading. I've got August Derleth. Bit something of fan for a long time, hopefuly glean something useful from the story that perhaps I wouldn't have picked up upon the first time around.

Was the original artifact back in Ch1 the key?

The gylphs I posted are a reference to Star Gate. They're on the.. Gate.. and the control stone, used to type in coordinates of the destination planet.

No clue yet on the whole missions.

Are you referring to Ep 2 with Adam's artifact?... It was a key in some way to the final puzzle. Mainly the paperwork that had the whole 'proof' on it that the artifact was ancient... Which was a scam... Basically.

 		Well Bobby is after something, the silver key would unlock a portal direct into Dreamlands he wouldn't have to die to get there.

He appears to be more than he seems and yet I feel that he wants us to believe that he is playing a far larger role than he actually is.

Need reread the earlier posts.

 		spent a little time re-thinking about the 'p666' pop-up and the info from QADHOS that has been released, indicating that another hidden solve is still out there.

the pop-up came about at the same time as clue3 which led us to Anasazi and The Blessing Way. We've had "the truth is out there" from QADHOS, in an email in relation to a direct question about hidden process, which is the generic tag line for the x-file episodes. There have been a number of episodes that carried their own, including Anasazi, which was "éí 'aaníígóó 'áhoot'é", navajo for "far away from here, the truth is", (ETA): or sometimes translated as "the truth is out there"

"Trust No One", was the tagline for "The Erlenmeyer Flask" in which Deep Throat dies. My point of reference for this, pretty much came from here, and needless to say I'm prolly grasping at straws.. :/ but sharing in the hope there is something in all this I'm missing.

 		working on it atm... a quick enhance of page from clue1... very faint... fits into the same drawing from clue3... or maybe it's just stock paper background... just thinking of what ELC drew on her journal... got me thinking it;s sending us back to this...

ETA: updated the picture below with what I think I can see in the background, which I have no idea what it is, but hey, there we go.. Smile

- Bobby Rondeau involvment or specific interest in Eleanor's quest is unknown to us.

 		Looks like it maybe Gregorian Chant which lines up with the Church background. Not completely certain though.

Blog is Rex Waldermarvs which equates to Valdermar II (drejl picked this up)
