LINK
S'been going a while now, seems the guy who made it has already gone crazy/been attacked/been possesed. Most of his recent posts are in binary.
First post can be found here
Bit scared myself, considering this takes place in Australia - where I live.

Bah, using a masky mask in the context of OOG ARG stuff doesn't appeal to me. Slender man, yeah, that's okay. That's from something that everyone's been fanning about for a while. Masky seems pretty localized to Marble Hornets though.

All of these cryptic blogger blogs are remarkably similar - weird codes (normally binary), slowly going crazy, etc, etc. This one doesn't even bother to hide its roots in Marble Hornets and Slenderman. Not too interested.

Normally, I'd be inclined to agree with you all that this is kind of one in a dozen or so, but look at the pics. He seems to have done some good work with the 'shops.

IT seems to be The Usual; vaguely threatening and Marble Hornet-sy gibberish, except for Feb 4 and 5 entry. Not saying that this blog knows anything about MH, but they do seem out of place. Still vague, though, and could mean anything. His profile just says "help me."
Also that Masky picture creeps me the hell out. I know it's easy to get ahold of one of those masks, but still...

Actually, I compared the masks - pretty different. Could have different meanings or something.
anyway, don't think its over yet, but it looks like its finishing up soon.

The masks are different but the idea is the same. It's like the creator was thinking, "dude, Masky is a pretty cool character. I'm going to make a game where the same thing happens to my protagonist!" Though as far as we can tell, in the Marble Hornets canon Masky is pretty specific to Jay -- protagonist/antagonist.
Using a mask again to be mysterious and threatening is just chewing up the original and spitting it out like cud. If you're going to use a very similar idea, you've got to be striving to make it seem better than the original or it just falls flat.
Also, I call shenanigans that the creator might not be aware of Marble Hornets. Not bloody likely. XD

Haha, if you meant what I said:

I meant that the blog writer probably doesn't have any info into the future "plot" of MH.

Ahhh, I totally misunderstood that. Pardon me! Thought you meant that this guy was working independently of having watched MH at all! ^_^;

"Spent today not curled up in a corner gibbering madly to myself. Not sure how much longer I can take this rationality. I need help."
...to be honest, some days that's how I feel, too.

I had meant it in the sense of somebody who is more clear about things, but perhaps not on the same level as the player... so I guess it would be a crazy person who turns a different shade of crazy, instead of becoming sane! XD
