Why are the cameras at a 33-34 millisecond delay?

Welp, that shows me. Above all, I suspect it's due to the film being pushed back so that we were seeing the door while he was asleep and him opening it while he was getting up.

I don't think the time delay on the camera is all that relevant, but I could be wrong. The point was to show you that the door was opening on one side and not the other. It was a very small delay.

I'm not sure if they're running out of ideas or they're actually going somewhere with the whole teleportation thing. I guess we'll see when TTA posts.

Some thoughts before I get ready for work:

- The images on the TV are probably from a closed-circuit loop from his assorted cameras. Either that, or J is watching the world's most boring nature show.

- I'm convinced that the face that shows up on the screen is Masky.

- Not only does the timer reset after the distortion, but the timer format does as well. It starts off counting frames alongside the time-elapsed count. After the distortion, it switches to a straight-out time-elapsed format. And when J comes back in, the size of the counter changes. Editing mistakes... or something else?

- I remember reading somewhere that one method of brainwashing is to continuously pump subliminal messages into a room or home at a volume level just below our ability to normally hear. Maybe the "music" is some sort of parallel?

I won't be able to concentrate at work today, I'll be too busy puzzling this stuff out.

Just to note, the camera that is covering Jay's bed seems to be in the exact same location as the one that was covering him when Masky came in and spirited Jay away that time.
To me, it suggests that this tripod (?) has been in the same position continually since before that Masky visit, and that the video then was also a surveillance camera--in function, if not in type.

So anyway, what is happening to Jay during these lapses? It's so unknown that most of the time we don't much talk about these gaps' function.

With all this stuff going on, and my belief (and I'm not alone) that totheark is multiple people (a man and a woman, or maybe more), it feels like there's a sort of team or committee doing some sort of experiments on him...possibly a secret lab or surgery theater exists...??

It does still seem to me that multiple "goners" (I was so hoping that that term would catch on...!) from Alex's list are still lucid and working together, and bringing Jay into the fold.

Masky peeping his head out? To me, it looks like the upper half of his mask visible, and tilted at a slight angle.

Wouldn't it be interesting if the TV is in fact a closed circuit loop of cameras OUTSIDE his house?
