Also, probably not relevant, but J's shadow looked very slenderlike. Made me think for a moment that J was becoming a Slenderman. I'm guessing it was just a coincidence with the lamp placement, though.

And, uhm, what's with the audio?

I'm not really sure what you're all talking about. I didn't hear any odd audio...

I'm just kidding. It's some sort of mellow piano showtune, like the kind you'd stereotypically hear in WWII era radio broadcasts. The volume goes up and down as the video progresses with no discernible pattern to me, and there's significant distortion used on it to make the audio sound "creepy" I suppose.

Audio favors the right audio channel almost exclusively.

It looks like Jay's falling onto his bed and bouncing around like he doesn't understand that you're not supposed to do it face first in that distorted part. WTF!

Thoughts!

Okay, either Jay, your taste in music for the given situation is damned creepy or... there's music playing he can't hear. I mean, he leaves it on when he goes to bed. And the music does seem to have a weird quality to it, especially around the time when he's coming back in the door from his mysterious absence.

The red-orange-pixelly distortion seemed to reset the camera clock.

He also seemed to be doing some strange things with his body during the distortion, almost like certain parts are in slow-mo, and there seems to be some choppy chunks of time missing -- I doubt he'd be tossing and turning so instantaneously. Floating? Maybe. I'm waffling. The distortion is making it hard to tell.

Again, he doesn't seem bothered by having been absent -- but he does pause for a moment and look back after he returns, right before going to sleep immediately (like he reports having done during entry 19, as well).

Interestingly, we still hear the sound of the door closing when we're in the computer/TV room after Jay's gone through the magical door of teleportation. Dunno if it's relevant or not.

In any case, our Mr. Jay is losing time again. But what is happening? Is he:

a) Under Slendy's sway in some manner even before disappearing, and continues to be even when he's come back?

Perhaps supported by the distortion that shows up before he gets up and goes for the teleporty-door. Maybe it fucked with his brain as well as his cameras, and from that moment on he's missing time. Or...

b) Somehow is only missing the time that he's gone, and when he comes back through the door is still thinking he just left the computer room?

I wish we knew whether or not he remembers going to bed again, or whether it's another lost recollection.

When Jay exits without exiting (you know, the aforementioned portal trick), the television goes wonky. Obvious... strangeness.

The timestamp disappears with that crazy distortion at 1:17. Less obvious... strangeness.

During the distorted section at 1:17, there are two clicks, like someone opening and then closing Jay's bedroom door (or another nearby door) really fast-like. Strangeness.

If each camera records its own audio (as opposed to each camera recording only video, with a single mic somewhere in the house), that means that that strange music at 1:25 is... well, it's coming from everywhere. I mean, it stops at 1:00, even before Jay closes his bedroom door, so it's either coming from one spot then, or it's coming from everywhere... or it starts in the living room and then goes everywhere...

Extreme strangeness.
