I wonder how Jay set up the surveillance. Also, I wonder what he's doing on the computer. He should seriously become an interactive character ._.

He seems to have had the potential to be an active character for some time, but I'm not sure that he ever will be. It's like having this weird hybrid between a narrator and an NPC character!

Well, I'm betting it's Masky, due to his childish nature. (Always running away and playing tricks on J, so why not add him laughing.)

Also, look where the eyes are, they are black, not indents like Slender Man has.

It would seem as though the earlier face switching (around 36 seconds) doesn't have any facial features. Everything seems to become inverted, or just colour change, which is really weird. Slendy's face (if it is him) would be normal but the background would be messed up.

Around 1:44+ the face that pops up seems much more like Masky's face (around when Jay goes in one side of the door and doesn't come out the other!) We can only seem to see the top half of the face, the rest seems obscured or to fade into the regular background image.

*brain boggled*

Wonder if they used layer masks in something like After Effects or if they filmed this, edited it, put it on the TV and then filmed THAT. (so much more complicated... but looks more authentic I suppose!)

Another random note: during the distortion of Jay flipping around on his bed, it almost seems like a slow-mo sort of seizure. o_o Anybody else see that?

It sort of did look like a seizure, which would go with that future-Jay-is-Masky theory that I hope isn't true.

Also, this entry made me do my dishes.

using my very own monitor tilting techniques, the images in the TV look to me like they are recording J's bed, and then someone comes and looks directly into the camera.

About the "music" in the background. It gets progressively louder as the video progresses, if any of you hadn't noticed yet.

ALSO...

I am starting to think that Jay may be possessed. DID ANY OF YOU FIND IT ODD THAT HE DIDN'T END THE VIDEO WITH A CLOSING MESSAGE IN WHITE TEXT LIKE HE USUALLY DOES? Shocked

Yet another subtle thing I noticed... from 2:00 - 2:10, when the text on the screen is "The only door outside is blocked. I couldn't have left.", if you click and drag the toggle button down that 10 second timeline back and fourth, the camera moves ever so slightly to the right. Is the camera not stationary, did J edit it, OR IS SOMEBODY MOVING IT? Surprised

On the subject of teleportation, I almost feel that it would have to be the whole room teleporting and not just him. The door not opening at all on the outside video feed leans me this way, but that seems a little too far-fetched Rolling Eyes

Also, the TV display originally reminded me of that early entry (# escapes me) where Alex is in the park and we only catch a brief glimpse of SM as he walks away. Perhaps this is a new video discovery of J's rather than surveillance video. The timing of his going to his room perhaps an outside controller's way of preventing him from seeing something?

Not very substantial but I'm new to doing more than lurking...

Also, watching it again, I'm subscribing more and more to the idea that that IS Slendy in the opening, hanging out in the background.

His jacket is open because otherwise you wouldn't be able to see he was there.

As far as his height goes, I'm reminded of Alex's video with Slendy behind the fence, where he looks really short. While he may normally be tall and slender, he seems to have the ability to shift his height. He hangs out inside all the time, just bending over slightly to fit.

I think that's what prompted Jay to turn around and go to his room.

Also I want to agree with whoever earlier said that they don't think the little 30 ms discrepancy in the cameras is meaningful. There's a margin of error, and I don't know if whatever program he's using will automatically sync it up, but if he's doing it manually...well, personally, I think that's close enough to be within the range of human error.
