Don't overlook the possibility that Jay is simply watching TV.... it's really hard to make anything out when you're looking at secondhand footage (especially this ultra-low-quality footage) of a tube television, let alone from a distance and at a weird angle. it could be mundane programming that simply looks weird.

Hmm...

Jay is already dead. He died at some point in the series (I suspect either when The Masked Man first appeared during the scuffle and blackout afterward or when he fell off of the Red Tower while retrieving Entry 22) and the entries we've gotten afterward are, literally, Jay uploading from beyond the grave. This is due to Slenderman "needing" knowledge of his existence to spread like a disease so he can continue to harass and eventually dispose of living creatures.

This is now my theory.

It could be... but it doesn't seem like it. Having watched it a number of times, the images appear very static (except some subtle movement in the last, and two short transitions). Though normal TV might have a few static shots, most of the time what shows up on the screen is moving, and most often, human. We'd notice movement of that sort.

I'm sticking to my guns on this outdoors-surveillance theory. Smile

It really does. But my brain is unwilling to process or accept such complex ideas at this time. Maybe after I sleep, assuming I can get to sleep.. I was listening to GY!BE for hours while waiting and watched with headphones, on my laptop, in bed, in the dark, Shocked

Arguing how teleportation "doesn't fit" is rather silly, I'd say. Doesn't fit in a story about a clearly supernatural being able to change shapes, mess up cameras and (possibly) human perception by his mere presence, and God knows what else? o.O

Besides, that's still jumping to conclusions. The camera timestamps reset thrice in this entry, so it's not conclusive that anything weirder besides camera manipulation - which we have all seen before - is going on. Personally, I'd like to hope this is a rather elaborate red herring with an added benefit of looking awesome on film.

Edit: Well, obviously besides for the fact that Jay left his totally barred-up house. But we had this before, as well. Just serves to show that locking Yourself up does not save You from Slender Man. I'm quite sure that is the message this is supposed to give us, not the exact nature of Slendy's quantum manipulation techniques Wink

O'Callighan, at least you aren't alone in a 3 floor house (not including basement) full of blind spots, wide windows, and odd noises caused by pipes/neighbors SAWING SHIT at 4:30 AM.

...Seriously, dude needs to chillax with his woodwork.

Messing up the camera and human perception is something I found more believable than simply teleporting. Slender Man doesn't seem so scary to me when I know some of his "superpowers" are teleporting people. As I said before I'm still a avid fan, but I have a differing point of view on this subject.

Laughing Don't know why, but it's funny to me. Sawing man/Slender man connection joke is failing to materialize.

No idea what Sadako means.

No connection between my saw happy neighbor and Slenderman on a joking level. But it's unsettling to suddenly hear an electric saw fire up when everything is, literally, dead quiet around you.

And I respect that x) Just saying that recording something supernatural and the results being something unexpected actually does make a lot of sense Wink

Btw, I can totally imagine Jay sitting in a blind spot under one of the cameras for 3 hours with masky (and possibly slendy, too), and laughing his ass off in anticipation of the results Wink

Hi there! I'm new here, and I've only recently stumbled upon the whole Marble Hornets and Slender Man stuff. So far I'm loving it. Smile

Maybe the music is coming from a neighbour's house. If the microphones in use there are anything like a voice recorder that I've got, then they might be able to pick up a butterfly landing on a patch of felt from three blocks away. Razz
