Ooh, lots of updates today...

1) There's a new training video up on the home page, with the scary Trainer Joe giving Lewis his orders (and plugging Reebok a little Wink )
2) Spread the word! There's all sorts of social media links here now to get your friends involved.
3) The registration system is now online, mainly used to keep your scores in the other new content...
4) Anna has a new blog about getting into the mansion, and once again calls for our help...
Anna wrote:
Yes, points are important, but I'm not even going to talk about the grand prix in Malaysia. There are more important things – namely, you.

Well done for tracking down that architect in Kuala Lumpur. Huge thanks go to everyone who helped, online and on the ground. Now we have both the plans to the building and satellite coverage so we can look out for guards and occupants when Lewis is going in.

I've already taken a look on the satellite feed to check the guards' routine and locate a suitable entry point. The satellite only covers that part of the world for a few minutes at a time every couple of days.

What I've seen has enabled me to create a heist simulator so you can all explore a model of the mansion and find the fastest route for Lewis to take. You can play it online or get a version for your mobile phone. I've gone through it a few times. I can see why Lewis enjoys this.

What you need to do is figure out how to get through the building, find the painting, and get out again as fast as possible. Unfortunately, your way into the mansion is a narrow window – too narrow for the painting to fit through – so you'll need to find a different way out.

Joe has come up with a few training tips as well to help Lewis get in shape for this particular job. I've posted his training video here in case you want to flex your muscles. I find that a healthy body promotes a healthy mind – just be careful not to strain yourself. I hope you've been practicing your stretches, because you'll need to be flexible.

tl;dr - there's a new game to play here.

I've managed to complete it in about 2:16, but I'm not sure if my times are saving, they're not appearing on the front page even though I'm logged in :/ (this is where I would put a spoiler on how to do it, but it's not too difficult and it's really fun to try. I'll let someone else post the method)

Question is what's the code that you can input in the game?

Edit: The best time I could get was 2:33:74

Since our login IDs are our emails, maybe the best few times will get emails with codes to enter? I'm just taking a wild guess, as we don't seem to have any codes from Anna yet, and it's obvious she'd have to be the source of them.
ETA: I trimmed my time to 2:13:17 - I don't think I can get much better than that without coming up with some new and far quicker way to do the puzzle in that one room.

The web game:
Very spiffy. Very Happy
Two and a half minutes? You guys are fast. I thought I was doing ok when I completed the simulation in four and a half minutes. I may need to try the game on another computer. Cool

The mobile game:
A 2-dimensional version of the web game. Also spiffy. Smile
The list of supported handsets is very small for a java app. I had to pick a random phone on the list before I could download it. With the exception of the title screen background, it adjusts well to screen resolution.

I beat it in about 4 minutes, I'd work on refining my time, but since Lex has already gotten a pretty damn amazing time, methinks that's not how we're supposed to go about it. Maybe we wait for a code to enter?

Hey folks I just got an interesting email from Frank:

Quote:
My dearest admirers,

On looking into the Qiuxia plans, I realised that there was a section missing. Mr Rafanaman was quite insistent on keeping cool in the humidity of Shanghai and demanded an enlarged ventilation system on the ground floor.

I have attached the final layout here, so you can see how one's clients can sometimes upset the balance of one's architectural vision. It upsets me to put my name to such an unbalanced piece of work, but these are the unfortunate pressures of the commercial world. Learn from my misfortune, little ones.

Remain strong,

Frank

I'm also attaching a new copy of the ground floor blueprints that frank mentions in said letter.

So, on encouragement from Anna I decided to give it another go, with a slightly altered method in the puzzle room. Just look at my new time!

(the "best time" field shows my previous best time, btw, but the new time is now my recorded best time)

But what do you figure on the new addition to the blueprints? wouldn't that speed up your time a good amount?

They're not in the game yet, as far as I'm aware. At least, I didn't see them there when I made that 2:09 time.
