Lol. God he's good. Razz

Update:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Place Juge Desnoyers
is just the street name. I did a bit more digging to find out what the last building on that street is. It's difficult to be 100% certain about it but I checked it a couple of times and what I've put seems to be correct.

Just chiming in to say that I agree with the address.
If you zoom in with street view you can see thatthe address of the first big complex is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Le Presqu'île 500-520
and the address of the complex at the very end of the street is
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Le Presqu'île 600

Also check out this real estate listing: link

Which makes our address something like
600 Place Juge-Desnoyers, Penthouse Apartment, Laval, QC, H7G4X3

There is a syndicate that manages these properties. While it is possible to rent or buy apartments in the buildings, I can't find the apartment number of the penthouse.

New blog post: Going for a Song

So apparently the penthouse is owned by a Mr Alexander Hawker, which, assuming the A in AQ Hawker stands for Alexander, would the Q stand for Quentin? Is it even important?

As for the next challenge of writing a song for this hockey player's ex, who's up for brain-storming some lyrics? I'm thinking something involving

Hockey
Montreal
Some lyrics in French
The St Laurent River.

Any other ideas?

Welcome. Smile
Do you mean that your song is on Anna's blog? I like it. Smile It is much more musical than my effort.

If you read my limerick you will understand why I haven't offered you any lyrical suggestions. Laughing
But perhaps you should avoid the phrase "look out over the balcony" (it's been done before Wink)
We have the rest of the weekend, so I'm currently working on another "slightly insane" entry. Flaming Nutter

I'm curious to know, are those 2 bits that you two did the only things that got entered? From the way she said "you've all gone slightly insane", it sounds like there should be more.

Anyway I uploaded my 2-minute song yesterday lunchtime just after the blog post went up. If that isn't good enough for them, I'll eat my hat. Razz

Edit: Oh yeah! I really loved the tune you submitted. Obviously the only problem with it is is that it's not a song. Apart from that it's absolutely lovely.

Time to vote : don't be afraid to vote for the only female singer ! Wink

I provided the lyrics, Circé did all the singing. She was so shy she nearly didn't do it.

She really shouldn't have been; she has a lovely voice. I didn't understand all the lyrics but I really like your song, though obviously I'm going to encourage everyone to vote for my song instead. I think my chorus definitely has the edge.

Fingers crossed Josie likes the result.

I am too stupid. I sent my melody in MIDI format. Everybody recorded own song. Sad

Of course not. Everyone just uses the tools they have to hand and to be honest, I don't think I have the tools to create MIDI files like that. In the end, if it's got a tune, it's music, so I wouldn't worry about it. Wink

Actually, your girlfriend wasn't the only female singer. Smile
You should be able to tell that I am female in my music video. Wink
I did all the exercising and all the singing in my video. I may have borrowed the shoes (and the rabbit!), but the vocals were mine. I used a deep voice filter in GarageBand to make it easier for Brian to emulate me.

Circé shouldn't be shy; she has a beautiful singing voice. Smile
Your entry is the most beautiful and romantic. I just cringe to imagine tone-deaf Brian butchering it.

Everybody used the format that was most convenient for them. For me, creating a video was easier than producing sheet music. Your melody is very pretty.

Amadeus wrote:

I agree, your song has the best chorus.

In the interest of self-promotion, I think that my entry would be the easiest for tone-deaf, unmusical Brian to perform for Josie. Very Happy

Glides in:

Hi guys Smile I haven't been on in aaages because of exams but I've been following the site. Well done for getting things done really quick and gratz to people who've had their names mentioned! (and got autographs in the mail ;D)

New update from Anna is up!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
AND IT'S SO ANNOYING [caps] because I want to go but I have exams and I really can't afford to "waste" time because I'm borderline with my grade and I really want to at least maintain it. And taking a break might not be a cool idea and I'm so upset because this is what I wanted to get involved in, especially as I'm in East London and soooo clooooseeee to central London it's ridiculous. ONE WEEK from finishing man I am distressed =([/caps] Getting back to Secret Lewis properly is one of the things that's been keeping me going... Mannnnnnn... =( If it's in London I might be able to get a round trip to college to print and scan things though so it might be okay, especially if no one else can do it. >_< Take things to read on the tube I suppose... it might not even be in London though. =/

ramble ramble hi sorry xD I hate exam season it ruins everything fun...[/spoiler]

Edit: Massively ninjaed by Scotgaz, oh well. xD
