I love Lemon Demon! This is really helpful, thank you!

I urged JKatkina to look through her tunes, also. She has more music than I do, or at least it's more likely to be applicable. XD My stash is all too... cheerful, or drums or girly or old movie/show title rips. How's the rest of the conglomeration going?

It's going really well, the playlist is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be, but that's a good thing. I'm working on a list of all the songs and why they're on there (like you did), and that's been a bit of work tracking down all the lyrics and trying to find the exact thing that makes it work. So far it's been really fun, and I'm still really glad that so many of you guys are willing to help out.

So, I'm taking a break from paintings, but instead, I'm focusing on a different project Very Happy

I'm currently working on a Masky doll. So far I've only got his body and jacket (Oh god. The jacket was a beast and I still have to sew the collar on and cuff the sleeves.) I'm hoping to have him done for next week.
If you guys have any suggestions or whatnot for his clothing/hair/mask, they're always welcome <3

Oh wow, cool! Hmmm, hair... either felt or yarn? Depends on if you want the helmet-head look or if you want to spend time pulling dozens of threads of yarn through the scalp area for something poofier! I don't have a lot of experience with sewing, so I don't have a lot of suggestions, unfortunately. (Those hands are both adorable and really creepy. So oversized!) I don't know if there are tiny masks that you can pick up from craft stores... maybe if you can find a doll head that's similar and chop it up? (Oh wow, that sounds so creepy.) And of course toss the paints up and go at it with black and white if needed?

Keep going, that's awesome! Very Happy

Now you've gone and done it @___@ I've tried sewing and such, and it ended up horribly. XDD For hair though you probably couldn't go wrong with attaching a bunch of black yarn together. I'd totally buy one Very Happy Also, nice Plague Doctor mask in the bg

Oh my god, and did you make the doll body, too? You amaze me, you do. 8'D Also, nice doctor mask back there, hehe.

Also yarn would probably work. It'd look creepier, even with the extra work. Felt might work for sideburns. And I bet you could find some sort of doll mask at Michaels. They have all sorts of creepy doll accessories. You could paint over a clown doll mask.

I'm only talented because it's an arms race against Miss D. D: I'm losing! If MH keeps going into the summer, though, (or at least past April 22nd, ohsnap) I hope to catch the fuck up! Very Happy

That Masky doll is pretty keen, Miss D. How about some faux-fur fabric for his luxurious locks? Can be bought long-pile and trimmed into style! But then, I know basically nothing about sewing things together soooo yeah, I suggest in ignorance. Very Happy

Anywho... I couldn't let the veritable repository of reference imagery in Entry Six-Pound go to waste, so I finally did another thing. I vacillate between thinking the darn thing is done and thinking it needs something else. If anyone has suggestions, I'm aallll ears.

How do you think I feel T__T I will give you a hint, small and tiny. You never know though, if I can keep cranking out flashes I just might be able to snatch third before it's too late Very Happy
Edit: Oh wait, nevermind I just saw JKat's piece

D: He's not adorable anymore! I will take cheesecake-thiefing Masky over restraining-order-requiring Masky any day. If I roll over and punch you in my sleep it's because you gave me horrible nightmares. *weep*

(Also, awesome job! Hmm, the nose might be too well defined... the mask-nose is pretty smooth around the tip, I think, whereas in this it looks like a real nose? The right cheek (our right) looks like it's jutting forward further than the left cheek, too.

Lastly, his locks are about .0000034% too dull. Needs more wind-ruffled prettiness~)

Okay, so I decided to go with yarn for his hair, It looks 10x better in real life compared to the photo.

Also, I made everything from scratch, even the plague doctor mask in the background of the other photo Very Happy I think I made that 3 years ago now, oh christ.

Also, I brought masky to school today to show to my friends, and of course it resulted in silliness.
