Then accept the certificate for the chat applet it wants to load, you can follow the prompts from there and get logged in. In the long run you may want to use a stand alone IRC client, or something like ChatZilla which is an addon for Mozilla browsers like Firefox. Once you make it into the room, you can seek a little more help from the people in the room - most of the players will be quite helpful.

Once in, the channel is #flynnlives- it isnt on the dropdown menu so you'll have to type it in.

 		the encom timeline says that Kevin Flynn was appointed CEO on March 12, 1983. maybe some activity on Friday??

 		Possible clue?
Was just checking out the Encom site, and on this page:

The game logos cycle through. but the "TRON" game logo is different than the standard logo, or the one seen on the game in the trailer. The "O" isn't filled in. For reference: http://www.phoenixarcade.com/images/tron%20marquee.jpg.

Possible clue or oversight? No idea. Typing 'O', or variants of "TRON" and "ENCOM" with and without the "O" as uppercase or lowercase yielded nothing.

 		Maybe theres more than just a ".com" domain version of encoms site.

Like a "http://www.encominternational.cn" for china or a "http://www.encominternational.co.nz" for New Zealand.

Something like that.

No dice on the .cn or .co.nz. There's a .org, but it just redirects to the main site.

 		Is this possible?
I was looking at the Encom offices page and tried comparing the dot that appears to be in Missouri with other maps, and according to that, I think that it may not be in St. Louis, but further south and west.

Rolla or Springfield possibly?

also, I'm not really even sure why it wouldn't be in St. Louis. What do you guys think?

I also noticed that while the site says that it has offices in 60 countries, there are only 35 dots on the map. Just sayin'

I was also wondering if anyone found anything in the flash object on the catalogue page of Encom's website. I realized that it appears to be the only flash object on the site that you can manipulate forward and backward.

I'm done making edits for now.
