Swag Snowball

After a good poker night last Saturday I decided I'd treat myself to an SDCC Tron Vintage Figure.

I followed a handful of the eBay auctions and figured if I was going to pick up the figure, I might as well buy a 2 piece lot with Sam's light cycle for trading or whatever.

Might as well check the one's with a figure, lightcycle and coaster.

Hmm... I don't have any tokens.

My little figure snowballed until I bought this lot: (copied from auction due to laziness)

*One Flynn Lives t-shirt, directions & fliers passed out at SDCC 2009 for Flynn's Arcade.
*One SDCC10 Exclusive Disney TRON light-up Action figure (unopened and still wrapped)
*One SDCC10 Exclusive Disney TRON Sam's Light Cycle (MIP)
*One Exclusive Disney TRON BearBrick (MIP)
*One Exclusive Comitron Ticket to get into Flynn's Arcade
*One TRON glow-stick (unused and handed out along with the Comitron ticket)
*One TRON promo foil card
*One TRON Legacy Get on the Grid promo card (postcard sized)
*One SDCC10 Exclusive Disney Sneak Peek TRON : The Betrayal graphic Novel which is a prequel to the movie
*One Disney TRON : The Betrayal graphic novel Poster (measures 36 x 24)
*One Empire Magazine with TRON cover/Comic Con Preview
*One Full Coke Zero official Aluminum Bottle

Got it at a fair BIN price.

So other than the vintage figure and possibly the shirt, just about everything above I would trade.

Main thing I'm looking for is the 89 stickers and pin. Never got mine after the campaign. Maybe End of Line poster. Offer whatever really.

PM me if you have any interest.

Now to tell my girlfriend I won a "raffle" when this ball o' swag hits my porch. Smile Shhh. It'll be our little secret here.

Edit: I did make sure that the Coke bottle is bubble-wrapped separately and placed in a Ziploc. Not a fan of sticky swag.

No-limit on Vintage Figures either, I guess.

So wrong.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen... this is the Scalperus Assholeus in its natural environment. Check out his other offerings for further evidence of its sad, pathetic state, living off of the broken dreams of others. If you see one in the wild, make sure to kick it squarely in the pelvis.

He's even selling the foil cards that they gave out. Are those actually worth anything?

Hey guys,
New guy here so I'm a little bit behind the curve with the items, I saw some of the sweet swag here. My bro and I went to the end of line club. Thing is he isn't big on tron so his bracelet's code can still be used. Anyone interested in trading something for this?

The VALUE list was is a great estimate of what others might think outside of the personal value that we as players hold in the ARG. I found one very important item missing on the list that would be hard to counterfeit and the amount manufactured is undetermined at the moment, although I am sure it could be found out if one was determined enough to look in to it.
BITs
We must assume they were produced in limited numbers. What that amount is, is unknown at this time.
ADDITIONALLY The count is actually split three ways!
Yes Bit
No Bit
Neutral Bit
Further more the bits hold value to ones taste as such in the form of art.Examples: (I want to own a Neutral Bit because that is the movie object/characters natural state, or I want a No Bit because it fits my personal liking and or taste, Or I like the Yes Bit for its artistic form)
Many factors fall in place to add additional value to our exclusive bits.
I personally treasure my Neutral Bit and have built a display case for it.http://pulse.yahoo.com/_5K2XUZ36QGTFDE27RINQVPT4GU/album/photos/99514http://pulse.yahoo.com/_5K2XUZ36QGTFDE27RINQVPT4GU/album/photos/99515

I totally agree with you, every word. I totally forgot about the bits. I actually WOULD donate to get one or more of the bits. These would only have value to the true TRON collector or ARG fan, but they should ALWAYS hold a lot of value, even if the new movie tanks. Especially since they relate to the legendary original movie. Just MHO. I am jealous of you... LOL

Bracelet Code, Coins, the coin purse, and a coaster

Okay sorry for all of those who were thinking I was giving the code away for free. My brother wants something in return. Does anyone have a bit or a space paranoids pin? If you are willing to do this, I willing to give you my brother's coin purse with all the coins, the bracelet, and a coaster.

lol, I swear every time I see one of those data discs and EOL posters go on ebay I have to go through a big fight with myself not to drop all the cash on em. I'll probably end up doing so on one of the 4 posters still up. But even though I could easily drop the cash for the disc it really is a fight between it just being a plastic toy, and it being a f'ing epic piece of tron memorabilia. lol bet i'm not the only one here going through the pains. o.0 Still need to get my hands on a coaster and coin pouch too. Fail on not being able to make it to SDCC when I only live as far as LA.

Wow, I really should have gone for the disc during some of the early auctions right after the con. I somehow just convinced myself that I'd be willing to drop the cash on the auction, and then watched it jump to 172 in the final 10 seconds. Lol damn these things are getting harder to get ahold of.

End Of Line posters are beginning to drop. Watched one go last night for a little over forty bucks. Also, tokens have dropped big time. There was an auction last night for tokens, a couple tickets, couple light sticks and the Empire magazine and it only went for $30! (Wish I would have gotten in on that one.)

So, again, patience.

Color me naive, but where did the bits come from? What are they made out of?

This video should pretty much explain the Bits:

They were sent out from the Flynn Lives base in San Diego.

The Bits were mailed out to select individuals to introduce the Zero Hour level of the ARG. They are made out of plastic. I've heard anywhere between 14 & 30 exist.

If you go by the video posted to the Flynn Lives message boards, it actually looks like it breaks down like this:

NO - 4
NEUTRAL - 7 (Looks like one may have been damaged, so there may be 8 )
YES - 7

At the end, when they guy is taking them out of their "Bit Bath", there looks to be 2 NO, 7 YES & 6-7 NEUTRAL. Though, honestly there is no way to know for sure if the total shown in the video is all that was sent out.

EDIT -- Euchre beat me by ONE minute. LOL!

From all the sources I've seen, methinks they may have kept the "molds" aka: "Program" for later use. So my fellow Tronomaniacs, I think we may still have the opportunity to score one.

I wonder how many bits went into making the Bits?
