We don't know what slendy wants at all. He's just kind of there. Jay is pretty fucked though, especially after the "Smile for death" thing

That could be a personification thing, like 'death' is a person. There are too many variables to know much of anything for sure.

As much as he's just a character, that's like the perfect internet denizen. XD If he winds up carking it at the hands of an Anonymous man and his spazzy internet tough-guy mask-wearing buddy, it will speak volumes and also make me weep.

Oh god, the irony... It runs so deep. XDD This series is scary again and not for the cheap thrills that hooked me in originally.

God, I have nothing useful to contribute to discussion anymore, haha. All the theories seem to have been brought up, talked about, forgotten, then regurgitated again when we have a new entry.

...I wonder what we're gonna do when we finally get answers. My money's on half "GOD THAT WAS STUPID" and half "I KNEW IT" haha.

Well, we're at this stage in the story where it seems weird to generate new ideas. You see people trying to and then getting smacked down for it. I think that everyone has their pet theory (even if they're willing to change their minds as new answers and clues come in) so it's difficult.

I have a friend similar to the character (in terms of being exceptionally calm and generally quiet, logical, etc.) and even she spazzes occasionally. XD I wonder why they decided to make Jay so exceptionally good at keeping his rage-face off the tubes. Maybe it's not so much that he has amazing self control as that he's shell shocked or dazed or under some kind-of trance. Or, I suppose, his temper's one of the few things he has left under his own control? :\ Who knows. Maybe he's part robot~

Nah, but I do believe Jay keeps his cool face on the internet because, he is triying to document this, he is not treating this as an ARG, he is keeping documentation in caseanything happens this makes me believe that something will happen to Jay, and a new Main character will arise with the marble holmes account and he will get to speed thanks to the entries.

I'd almost prefer to think that this is Slendy pulling Jay's strings. At least that way his doom or demise or whatever isn't for sure. He's got too much empathy built up behind him. Killing him off so that some stupid newbie could take his place would be completely and utterly lame. (Not that we haven't seen that kind of storytelling before... it's just a stupid plot hook.)

In all seriousness, though, killing off Jay in the end seems so predictable, but so inevitable at this point. And it's a near guarantee that all our questions aren't gonna be answered, if any at all.

Besides, if Jay goes kaput and someone else takes over, who would that be? ...Heh, heh, Marble Hornets as documented by Masky. "Entry #32: Have been feeling weird cravings for cheesecake lately and IdsjfksdfhjdsGYKJLGdgkssa;dddddddd *seizure over keyboard*"

(Or, if we're going with the Tim-has-multiple-personalities theory, as documented by Tim with Masky STILL being the antagonist.)

But, Masky as the new protagonist would be HILARIOUS. We'd spend about 90 percent of the time trying to figure out what he was even trying to tell us.

Agreed about Jay very likely getting killed off at some point; I think that's one of the reasons that I'm rooting for him to survive. "I know you're probably not going to make it, but I'm cheering for ya!" Actually... that probably makes it one of the more interesting stories in this genre. >_> Usually I remove my empathy for the protagonist from the get-go because I know they're going to cark it. The fact that I can't tell if these guys are following traditional story lines makes it hard to remove myself from the craziness!
