At least a half step behind everyone else. All the event's so far have outed/happened while I am on the way to work. I work nights, so lately my co workers have been hearing "I missed another one? Dammit!" often.

I feel you, I'm in Italy this semester so I'm asleep when all this happens. =(
Hopefully I'll have time this summer when I'm back in the states! I know it'll blow up!

That section of "glitchy noise" during the title shot is basically very low bit rate music. Its not complex enough to form an image like the one from the year zero project. for year zero it was a wall of "white noise" at the end of the track that formed a hand in the image when you looked at the frequency spectrum of the wave file in audacity.

That is true for the image of the presence. The phone number that was found via the same trick sounded like a derezzed sample. If I can get my basement dry, I'll play with it a bit myself.

WHAT THE HECK? Alright so i was watching a trailer for some movie called TRON or something like that and then when this guy goes into this room and touches some screen some numbers flash up quickly. They look like an IP or something like that. Anyway i always like figuering things like this out what does it mean are those numbers related to something in the real world stuff like that. So i type them into google maybee i will get a result. And i did this webpage. But can you care to englighten me about what you are talking about.

...read the entire forum or do a search and youll know what's what
ill tell ya that its not an IP, its a timer noting the time since kevin flynn vanished...we determined that longgggg ago...soon after we first saw the trailer for a movie called TRON or something like that...

Yes, yes he is. Also known as the "Albino Cow" you can read up more on him here: http://www.flynnlives.com/
He was singlehandedly responsible for a lot of the old-school arcade classics many of us remember. We've actually got a couple of threads here dedicated to chatting about some of our old favorites like Space Paranoids and Circuit Cycle. Both of which, by the way, are now freely available on the web to play using the Unity engine. You might want to check them out if you're into some really awesome classic gaming.
