It's been awhile so I can't remember for sure, but it was either 400 or 600 DPI. I tweaked the levels in Photoshop to get it to look like that too, it was initially a little duller.

Ah ok, yeah I had to tweak the levels on mine as well. The original scan for everything was real dull.

So I just did a test print of the side by side comparison. Can't decide which I like more now. lol. It's like looking at the two different phases of the hologram.

PM'd to cracksmurf and velocity (With your original comments about them.).

Thanks guys. I'll more than likely make use of your remakes of the foil parts. Seems like a perfect starting point if I can figure a way to do the foil transfer. As far as the holo goes, I am probably going to try and get another scan of it. I liked how my scanner came out. Printed real nice too (minus the scratches). What DPI did you do your scan at? I did 600. increased the quality a bit. Below is a comparison showing you what I mean. Yours is on left mine is on right. Seems like your scanner picked up more of the holo portion. Replace the black graphic with white or make it transparent. Then it'd be easy to print on a foil.

Hi all,

I've recently went through all my Tron memorabilia & Legacy swag. I came across two things that were hidden amongst the goodies! I had no idea these were in my collection!

These are official '82 marketing items that seem to be have only shipped to retailers and private inquires. I've scanned them at a good-resolution, but the are JPEGs. I have hi-rez TIFFs if anybody wants them.

PM me if you want the TIFF files!

Download, print and enjoy!

So...random question...would anyone be interested in commissioned illustrations of themselves as programs? Every couple of months I try to make a little extra coin doing commissioned artwork and thought some uF folks might be interested in the idea.

No biggie if not, just throwing it out there.

Sure, probably should have thought of that before I posted. Embarassed

This is a rough, and I emphasize rough, sketch of me as a program. I spent less than 2 hours on it so the anatomy isn't as tight as I would prefer and there's no background...and it's just a little goofy posture-wise, but whatever. If folks were interested their sketches would be clean, have a slight background, and would be more accurate to the photo supplied...this was just a quickie to give you guys an idea of what I was talking about.

I figured I could do 8.5x11 pencil sketches for $25 pus $5 for S&H.

Oh, I don't doubt that's a rough sketch. You can't possibly have that toned of a physique.

Hey, it's possible...Not likely...but possible... Laughing

That said, I landed a pretty decent freelance gig this morning (yay for sweet, early morning e-mails!) so I wont be able to do any drawings, at least not for the next few weeks until I get this job wrapped up. Between my day job and the one I just won I will be a little busy.

If anyone is still interested in a few weeks drop me a PM and I will try and knock some drawings out of you folks as programs (whether you are tone or not is up to you! Wink ).

Thanks guys n gals.

Congratulations on the gig! Hopefully at that point I'll be able to afford a print I still say they look good even "in the rough."

Thanks Phylos!

It will probably be September before I get it wrapped up but if anyone still wants a drawing at that point I would be more than happy to help out.

Picked up a Space Paranoids replica off of KLOV the other day.

Mounted and framed along with my Tron poster:

I did a search on google and found the thread referring to this poster. Looks like the guy did a limited run of these. I think he was just planning on doing a single roll. Not sure if he is still making them, but you could always try and contact him. Here's the link to the forum and information on pricing.

OK Test print ran and heres the breakdown
prices are for poster/paper stock and includes shipping
    Flyer size-8 1/2x11" $15 (poster/paper stock only)
    Small-18x24"-$25
    Medium 24x36"-$35
    Large 27x40" $45

For Poly Banner print add $10 any size and Shipped rolled in thick hard tubes
