Well, this is rather shocking... I was one of the more enthusiastic followers of the original ARG that this one appears to be continuing off of. If you want more background info on what happened with that, most of it should be able to found at the wiki Drizjr posted. Be sure to check the blogs on that page. Other than that, I can recall the following off the top of my head:
First, much of the information we had catalogued has been lost due to the fact that the site that the ARG originated on (Fyreball) was closed down. That happened over a year and a half ago. A couple of months after that, the community that was on that site relocated to a forum (fyrum.com), so if you want to find anyone else to ask about this, go there.
Second, we found ties within the writings to several other fictional universes; however, I cannot recall what they are at this time.
That's all that I can remember right now... well, it's a great feeling to think that this might be coming back once more. Heck, maybe fyreball will come back after all as well.

Hello World!

I was one of the deeply implicated in the original Echo One One ARG, although it seemed to die alongside our original site, as Rade told you about. A reboot is defninently possible, if not by the original guy, Deacon I believe, then by someone else who took it over.

This is pretty exciting, and wouldn't it be grand if our two communities solved this together? ^_^
