Im new at ARG... I just had a lecture about them and made me very interested in playing... and this one seems really creepy and interesting so here i go...
The new video shows definitivly the girl so we can assume he has her...
and the cat at the beggining, he has something with animals that we have to figure out... the snake, then the twitter dream of the canary... a lot of animals in the second video...
Also in the blog, why books is the only of the 3 without a link? maybe thats a clue or something, should we be looking for a book....

I've been trying to analyze the audio from the last youtube vid but still haven't come up with anything more yet. Diam did have this to say about Dead City:

The audio from that last video is driving me nuts. Looking at the spectrum there is something consistent at 300Hz and almost sounds like morse code but has too much ringing. I also hear what I think is a third voice aside from the repeating numbers and the male voice. I just can't seem to pull anything out of it.

i've been playing around with the audio in audacity - there are a number of layers of sound as far as i can tell (i'm no expert on this and might be missing a few tricks).

there's the male spoken voice, which seems to be saying something like:

"i will eat, all of you, and all of the itty bitty...." which i can't quite make out clearly enough to idenify a quote from - think it may be more poetry, as in the 'dead city radio' mp3

then there's a different voice that mutters a few words in the first couple of seconds

there is the clearer child's voice that seems to be saying "8483868" or "8483878" in a loop, and also further in the background other numbers being spoken, again by a child or children.

if you strip out most of this noise from the track then you get a series of weird beeps and whistles - sounds a bit like the clangers - but i havent been able to figure out if this is hiding something or if it is just being used to make the whole track harder to understand.

at the moment the quote and the louder numbers seem to be our best lead. there are also a number of unsolved or unexplained entries on the blog we should concentrate on, such as the 'i have her' line which suggests the number 23315235 - phone number maybe?

ETA and the latest twitter from Diam which tells us, in answer to my question, that 3 = saralahasha??? no hits through google, presumably a portmanteau of sarala and hasha?

I saw a while back that someone said the photos of LL getting stalked were taken with a HTC T-Mobile G1, and I was wondering if you knew that the photos Lisa took of the flashdrive were taken with the same model.

Of course it's possible that we are supposed to just write it of as a coincidence and preferably not have noticed it in the first place.

I've been sweating over the audio as well, but I'm pretty sure I don't have the equipment to clear it up. BTW, I noticed 720 is another area code for the ZIP they live in, and 720-848-3868 seems to be a legitimate number, but I have the feeling it's OOG as 303 is much more prominent, they would probably give us the area code. I don't wanna call some old lady and have to ask if she's Mr.Teeth, lol
