ETA Still feels a bit odd - seems like the gmail account was created on Monday the 22nd. However, the account was accessed from two different places in the Denver area.

i found the gmail site late last night as well (am UK based) - i'd checked gmail because MMMF's own email address is there. unfortunately, when i saw it was empty i assumed i had done something wrong and went to sleep on it lol.

good to get past our first real sticky point, will have a look at the blogspot found by mrtoasty and see where it takes us.

the account creation on monday 22 fits with the date we got the image of the back of the drive and the denver accesses pretty much confirm we have the right place - well done all.

EDIT the secondary email for atroxdentibusSPLATgmail.com is atroxdentibusSPLATyahoo.com - which can be accessed using the same password. i searched the yahoo account but couldn't find much, apart from email history setting up the gmail account.

the secondary email address for the yahoo account is carbonblackSPLATgmail.com which is not accessed using blowsthetrumpet. may be OOG?

Just logged into blogspot using the username and password. There is one post in the blog, I'll quote it below, but the original post has variously colored letters.

Currently, the only way to see the post appears to be to log into the account. One could theoretically convert the blog to public viewing, but I have no idea how MisterTeeth would react to this.

i'm guessing at this stage that the colouring of the letters/words on the blog is important because that's a lot of effort to go to if it isn't altho MMMF has already warned us that some of his trails might be false.

there are a number of 'mistakes' or parts in the three pieces where the formatting is different, most notably:

in '0' the all red words - betrayal, attack and hate.
in '1' each of the charms is written in just one colour, horseshoes, clovers, rabbit, keys and stars.
in '2' all of the words are in one colour except 'couldn't' which changes colour from grey to yellow after the first 4 letters. (also, in '2' the word shed appears to be in bold or some other larger font).

we also know that MMMF has a thing about blue and red, and binary, from a previous puzzle, which might be relevant to this. as of yet i haven't done a lot due to work but as the weekend approaches i will see if there is an obvious pattern to the colours or their frequency.

i think the history is all us - or at least it has all been posted since we cracked the password and got access to this gmail account. i know i was in earlier and searched for 'dm1' for example - as these are the only blue characters in the blogspot verses.

i also am fairly sure i checked the history when i first accessed the gmail account and it was empty. it is possible that MMMF is still using the site too i guess, so we should try to limit footprints on their as much as possible.

Possibly a color as letter cypher? Either way time will tell.
