well i just thought i'd chip in with my " I'm green with envy " at you guys post. it looks like this is gonna be awsome. I'm holding out hope that the dot over Scotland on the map on the Encom site means theres gonna be an event here at some point. but if anyone fancies grabbing me a shirt and arranging with me to get it sent over that would also be awsome

TO Rogi, if I were you I'd jump on the offer of a seat in the van, sounds like they're gonna have a blast

lol, it is. its my templet for our van magnets

Let me know if you need the colors tweaked. I can make the background of the image match whatever color the van is you end up renting, just try and find out what color it is and let me know ASAP.
i think the red looks better and is certainly updated with the new Encom color scheme.

Then... It's a black van?

Hey, all...I PM'ed socalsteve about it, but if any of you there have someone come up to you asking for help for me, please help them out. I have a friend out there who's gonna try and make the ballroom/pre-event for me. I'm hoping he can snag a shirt/poster/code for me so the rest of you can score stuff for others who can't make it.

Thanks a bunch, and have a blast! I'll hope to tune in to hazardo's stream as it's going on.

Whatever color it ends up being, Steve should be ok. I recreated the 2 color grid background and made the logo the same beveled white as seen on the Encom site.

Hey, just a thought...

I haven't really done much with these since early I Love Bees. Should we arrange some sort of support team that is reachable by people on the ground for these events should they need Max Headroom-esque support? People who can Google/text/research on call for people who might not have the ability to do as much on the ground? I know with iPhones and the like it's not as necessary anymore, but just in case, would it be a bad idea to have people volunteer to be support staff for the ground folks?

I'd be game to help on Friday should we need to...

Is there anyone else who will be doing a live stream of the press event?

I'm setting up a broadcast 'hub' type page with chats, and if there's more than just Hazado's ustream, it would be great to get a 'multi-camera angle' type coverage set up Smile

Again, are those streams capturable so we can save them for those who might not be able to watch live?
