Same here....if I knew the conference was at a certain place/time, I'd definitely do my best to be there, but I can't just go around attending every possible conference.

From what I've seen so far, though, it does look like San Fran, April 2nd or 3rd...at least that's my best guess so far.

I live in SF, about two blocks from the Moscone center where Wondercon is, AND I got my badge yesterday...

Now if I could get some confirmation about EXACTLY when/where the conference was going to be...

I think the only "confirmation" we have regarding the location of the conference is on the employee intranet - the picture of the San Francisco skyline beneath the announcement. Not conclusive but very convincing Smile

Also, since the movie doesn't come out until Dec, I'm sure there will be something at SDCC as well - and past events show that you do NOT have to have a badge to participate, and Unfictioners are quick to report any and all live event info we hear about Smile

Look, I kinda doubt that the Encom Conference would be completely live only. From my experience in the corporate world usually they'll have a live event with a web cast along with it for those who can't attend. I believe that those who can attend the live portion will get cool swag. Those who watch will get nothing but clues. Either way I feel that there will be two achievements, one for the live event and two being the web cast/nothing.
