Speak for yourself. I fully expect that I'll outrank you all. Razz

And, considering I am the physically farthest from the shipping location, I'm guessing that if I do get one I'll probably get it last.

Got my badge today, haven't logged in yet. I did quite the geeky happy dance upon ripping it open, however.

I live in West LA, the stamp on the package states that it's being shipped from Pasadena, CA...give it a few days, they probably only started shipping Monday or Tuesday? Smile

No one has indicated the length of the ID. Does it match up with the tickets to the preview? If so, we can get into the intranet before badges arrive.

They are 8 alphanumeric characters in length..... looks to be completely random generated.

the 8 characters are hex code, myne decode into all puncuation marks.....

btw: my badge got to South FL on the 17th...

Physical location has very little to do with how quickly the USPS gets things to you. If you live in a small town fairly near a larger city, many times mail sent within your same town will first be sent to a sorting center in the city before going back to your local post office to be delivered. (How's that for efficiency?)

I live in a pretty podunk area, and I've had things mailed from LA area take 2 more days to get to me than mailings at the exact same time sent to Orlando, FL. I'm thousands of miles closer, but about 3 steps farther down a distribution chain than them.

Here's to hoping by luck the USPS got done faster than expected and I get mine tomorrow (later today).

Darn, I live in the UK so I'm probably not going to be seeing my badge for a while :/. Hopefully it'll appear before I go home for Easter!

 [SPEC] [SOURCE] Intranet Emails
[SPEC] [SOURCE] Intranet Emails, Something or nothing?

First post, be kind. I'm fuzzy on what needs a spoiler cover, so I added one to play it safe.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I noticed something, it's probably nothing, but I'm throwing it out. In the email inbox, the emails are numbered and dated from top-to-bottom, oldest-to-newest. However, if you look at the link for each one, the HTML LINKS are NOT in order. Letter #4 (from HY_I.T._DEPT) is actually '1'.

i.e.:
1 http://www.encominternational.com/employeeintranet/email.aspx?eid=2
2 http://www.encominternational.com/employeeintranet/email.aspx?eid=3
3 http://www.encominternational.com/employeeintranet/email.aspx?eid=4
4 http://www.encominternational.com/employeeintranet/email.aspx?eid=1
5 http://www.encominternational.com/employeeintranet/email.aspx?eid=5

Maybe this one email is significant somehow? I know I would write the most important one first, then add filler. Or maybe it says something more complex about the order of all 5 together?

I tried plugging various data (date in multiple formats, sender, subject) from letter #4 (1 in HTML) into the old derez site, but got nothing. I was hoping 5 emails (Inbox) and 5 codes (/derez) was not a coincidence.

P.S.
I got my Level 7 badge today. I checked the badge, note, and envelope under my Home Depot black light bulb (I question the bulb's black-lightness) and didn't see anything interesting.

AGGH, I'm in Italy right now, meaning I probs won't get acess for another week =(

I really hope it comes through, I doubt they would NOT send them Internationally without some sort of email saying so, so here's to hoping!

how i wish there was a way to track our ENCOM badges to see when they'll arrive. i'll be ticked if the post office held my badge and put it in the P.O. box instead of delivering it to my house. i did use my street address, so HOPEFULLY it'll be delivered there. Sad

Just got my badge. Did anyone else notice that the packages were $0.34 postage due?? I have NO problem paying $0.34 for my badge... but that could cause delivery problems for some people. (and it helps save 24E a little money on the campaign too - hopefully they can use the savings to throw more events.. like here in the midwest! Smile)

I didn't have postage due here. My Stamp was for $1.05, anyone else's different?
