Just checked IMDB, ilovemovies. You're right, though he could be just the stuntman for the character. He's apparently done a LOT of those stuntman roles. HOWEVER, Dan Shor's IMDB page ALSO lists him as playing Rinzler, as does the film's official site. So I think Anis Cheurfa really is the STUNTMAN for Dan Shor, who's playing Rinzler in the film.

Also, in the leaked 7-minute Comic-Con footage, you see a program with a uniform that EXACTLY LIKE Rinzler's (minus the helmet) shout, "FLYNN, GO!!" So, since Dan Shor played Ram in the original movie, could Rinzler really not be Tron, but A RESURECTED RAM?

Here's a thought, based on both what we know and what we've observed, especially after the most recent trailer. Apparently Clu kicked Flynn out, removing the "User tyranny" from the system. TRON was created as a security program. He fights for the users and works to keep the system functioning to best serve the users. He is also a powerful warrior. In the above images, we see two characters with the little T on their chest, but one has blue and one has orange. Okay, well, what happens if Clu has a copy of Tron made, but does a little reprogramming so that NuTron (Or, since this is sorts 80's, NegaTron ) is as powerful as old Tron, but is now loyal to Clu. And why stop there? Why not make an army, or some sort of secret police out of them? We know that Flynn set up the system to detect and examine incongruous programs using the recognizers. Isn't Flynn just adapting what is already there to his own end?

I hope they wouldn't go for something cheesy about how Tron is weaker than NuTron because he fights for good and is constrained by doing good deeds, blah blah blah. Not just because it is cheesy, but because it makes no sense. In the original movie, Tron was fighting a war, pure and simple. He went around killing people- you know, like you do in a war. He knew that they were the enemy and had no problems with it. If they go the cheesy route, I'll be pissed. Because that'll end with an awesome fight sequence where NuTron gets his ass handed to him until he hears the ghost of derezzed Yori telling him that he can do it, he'll get up, yell at the back of NuTron (because they always turn around so they can't see the hero get up) and then pummel him.

What I would like to see is what the world outside of Flynn's server looks like. Have they co-evolved? What's the internet like? So many, many questions. Is that computer hooked up to some sort of acoustic internet (this is 1989 he dissappeared, after all) connection? If not, would they programs in the system have essentially stopped evolving? If so, what do the programs and the world/landscape itself look like out in the rest of the computer world, with computers which are several times newer than Flynn's server (consider- ~1982-1989 is only 7 years. But it has been nearly three times that long since then).

Come to think of it, I know I had a 14.4 modem around that time, but it has been so long, I don't really remember the year anymore. I suppose he could have done that tho, since he would have had all the resources of one of the most advanced technology companies in the world.

Something to consider,

This is a movie where one of the featured characters is a de aged face on someone else's body. Dan Shor could be a de aged face while Anis Cheurfa is the body.

personally, I'm expecting the info about rinzler is a misdirection, and the reveal will be a de aged Bruce boxlightner under the helmet, and giving him some kind of "Virus Check" will be a plot point to taking down Clu2

So... Where is Tron ?
