Probably nothing, but I just did a search for the phrase "open the door and you will find them" and Matthew 7:7 was the first result:

Hmmm, so "He's only there when you think of him." Doesn't this sound much like a few ideas that have been tossed around? As in, Slenderman comes around only if you think of him, or something like that. Interesting...

This may also tie in with there being some people Slendy wants for a specific purpose. Zeke can't be just another victim, he's been referenced by at least three others now, and Slendy doesn't burn through this much padding just to get to one victim, unless he has something special on his mind. So, Zeke gets added to the "Special" list, along with Alex Kralie and Jay...

Also, this latest entry basically confirms the "Conaghan was ascribing human motives to something else" theory, torpedoing the motives-and-goals rule that Conaghan's exp osition lanation had established. Do you think that was planned all along, or did the author see the negative reaction to the Reveal and make a RetCon? It actually works either way... after all, several of US have been attributing conventional motives to Slendy for a while.

Honestly I am a little disappointed with lizzie becoming a cryptic tta clone. reminds me of "who are you" before that crapped itself

Well, to be fair, it is a recurring theme within the mythos itself... also, all the victims in this slenderblog have done the same thing, so it works with what was established...

Still, yeah, they could have done something newer. Then again, I think this blog displays a certain storytelling flair lacked by most slenderblogs and MH clones... so it may put a unique twist on it later on. I certainly think so.

Lizzie becoming a TTA analogy is something that I find an inevitable conclusion: after all, Mr. Thin is an enigma wrapped in a suit. You can't really ascribe features to him (quite literally, dur hur hur). Interesting note: apparently, Slendy can "show" you things. Maybe this is the reason for the drawings? As in, he makes you "see" by making you draw the thing he wants you to see, albeit in simplified stick figures. And then they put two and two together. It's five. But only for high values of two.

@Unitedshodden; you mean the "out of sight/out of mind" theories? Those are interesting, but this is the first take on them I've seen that means he's still there, but you don't know it. You suspect, but you're kept in the dark by the boundaries of your own knowledge.

In other news, it seems Zeke does have some relationship with Slendy. Any volunteers for Zeke/Slendy shipping?

That's what we've been discussing, good sir/madam. *tips hat*

On a serious note: I do like how Zeke can apparently sense capital letters. There was a bit of a mood swing towards the end, which was... interesting. But isn't a journal just words?

Interesting... Lizzie says "all the stories end up the same way," that Slendy always wins in the end... but MH hasn't ended yet. And in MH, it's looking like there might actually be a key to fending him off...

Another Update

I'd say that things are getting big now, but I think we've said that ten times by now. Rolling Eyes

Anyways, it does looks like you-know-who is setting his final plan into motion now. Things do not look very good on paper.

By Jingo, this should end the section of the story focused on Conaghan before too long.

Wow....I don't even know what to say except...wow. Shocked

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Those hallways were dark, and they kept branching off to other parts of the building. It felt like I was navigating the labyrinth as I made my way through them. Once or twice I'm pretty sure I ended up in the same room more than once, going in circles. I was getting pretty disoriented, and I had barely been in there an hour.

Hmmm, sounds like teleporting to me! Although I'm surprised at how much he remembers from the incident...as in everything. No memory loss, no blackouts...just a losing his sense of time. Maybe he has some sort of resistance?

Maybe he is sticking straightly to the original tales. I don't remember memory loss being part of them.

From a story-writing perspective, having someone loose their memory doesn't work well without a video camera or something else to fill in the plot holes.

Exception: the movie Momento, which was told in reverse (highly recommended, btw.)
