I have came up with a theory that Alex's name is an anagram. I put the unused letters in parenthesis because I posted anagrams with left over letters, just in case one of the words is correct. Enjoy!

Ark Exile (ale)

Feel free to submit your own anagrams.

Thanks,

The Hax

Question. Why remove an A, L, and E from his name before making an anagram? Is there some special reason those letter in particular should be left out?

Technically, Alex Kralie is his real name, so it's unlikely that anything significant to the character or his plight will be hidden in his real name.

Marble Hornets anagrams are also somewhat unlikely, as he came up with the name before encountering Slenderman - and the name had significance to him when he was growing up.

ToTheArk anagrams were likely until Entry ######, once Masky tells him to lead him "to the ark". His name seems to be purely functional.

I had hoped for some nice anagrams when I first got into the game, but I doubt that any of the main nouns hold too many word-scrambly secrets.

...what? His real name is Joseph, not Alex.

I believe he/she was referring to the fact that the character's name already existed long before any of these Slender-related events, and not the actor's name.

Is Kralie even a real last name? I Googled it and the only links that came up were related to Marble Hornets. And the first three letters are "ark" backwards, the last three are "lie."

Kralie was apparently his last name before he was even aware (supposedly) of the Operator, though, so I'm not sure if that means anything.

But of course! Alex's middle name could be Rick. R=18, i=8, c=3, and k=11. 18+8=26, and if we disregard the letter k and subtract 3, then we end up with.........DEARRRRRR GOOOOOOOD! OP, you seem to be looking too deep into the wrong detail.

no, actually it was necro-ed by an angry troll who was mad that the forum didn't like his generic comedy. Confused this has nothing to do with the whole "No new thread" thing. Unless you count "Gimmer 20 dollars" as a valid bump.

Well "Ark Exile" would come close to making sense if it actually used all of the letters. I've never seen anyone create an anagram where they just shoved in some random letters that weren't part of the anagram itself and expected people to figure it out.

Seems like we're grasping for straws here. It's just the dude's name.
