 		There is the question of why the hell Tim is going to such lengths, even if they're not great friends. Why film fancy videos and don a pretty mask to chase Jay around like a scared chicken?

Seems like he's a psychopath who thinks that Jay knows something, so he's trying to get him to move? I mean, the mask could be helpful in protection against Slender Man, but it could also be for kicks?

 		Hey, uh... isn't Jay's apartment on the first floor? Or how do you explain Masky being right outside the window before he breaks in the first time? So... Jay's apartment can't be the one on the third story where the fire started. Was that just sloppy editing because it shouldn't matter where it started? Or cause they couldn't find decent fire news footage about a fire starting on the first story?

Judging by ##### and #25, Masky isn't a good friend. The "multiple Maskies" theory doesn't have that much going for it (to my knowledge, the presence of the sideburns of JUSTICE! is consistent, indicating that it's Tim), as well as Occam's Razor against it. Personally, I believe it is either a) a budding Chekhov's Gun, or b) something of a warning, as J ran into Slender Man shortly after. Or, at least a "be careful."


Oh, sorry, I just read it wrong.

Personally, though, I don't think the multiple Maskies theory is ludicrous and out of the question. Between the different facial types/hair, the multiple messed up bedrooms in Brian's house, and the sheer number of shenanigans Masky gets up to, it just kind of makes sense to me.

But I'm also known for being wrong, and being dumb.

This has been covered previously in the thread. Long story short, the floor he lives on is never specified, and the apartment where the fire started belonged to a woman. That woman is presumably not Jay.

Anyway, 25 unfortunately doesn't give us a whole lot to go on. I mean, Slendy is known to be associated with fires. Masky has accessed Jay's apartment before. TTA/Masky has told Jay to stay home. Alex said he'd burn the tapes.

We seem to have a billion leads.

Plus you've got the painting of the fire which Alex seems to want in the picture in an earlier entry (this always confused me, he talks about it like it really need to be part of the interview, and noone seems to think its weird).

 		this is something that i have had kicking around in my head and i am sorry if it has already been said but i only recently got into marble hornets. after watching all the videos and reading a few of the topics here it has occured to me that maybe jay is also TTA and Masky now bear with me on this one what if jay is suffering from multiple personality disorder it would account for the loss of time he has been experienceing as well as that we have the pills now as far as i can see masky is the guy trying to help jay he or they which would also explain how jay can be in the same room as a masked person are the rest of the mh crew and TTA is trying to hinder jay in his quest now if this is a case of MPD then it is entirely possible that jay has gone out one night as his alter ego TTA and set fire to his appartment then gone home none the wiser then he has posted a video as his other alter ego masky telling himself to get out essentially. i haope that makes sense and please feel free to point out any holes in my theory all input greatly helps.

Woah, can I suggest the use of a few .s and ,s please? Its difficult to get the head around what you are saying because its in one big breath.

But I see what you are saying, it would be supported by entry ##### coming from Jay's account. But, it seems a spurious move on the part of the PMs to have one part of J's personality be masky, and yet also have him as a seperate character - it seems unnesscarily confusing!

MPD is become fairly standard slendyARGfare.

Actually I've been thinking along similar lines the last few days. Allow me to clarify. I can buy that Jay is TTA. After all, its known that they have both had (currently have?) access to the tapes. The only people that we know for sure have had this are Jay and Alex with Alex seemingly reluctant even to be AROUND the tapes, hence his stated intention to burn them.

As for Jay being Masky though, I'm not so sure. Like distilled said above I think that if the creators wanted us to think that then they wouldnt have shown them in the same room on multiple occasions as well as having him be an aspect of Jay's MPD. That seems..Obtuse to say the least.

I'm going to have to go with (I think) the majority of posters here and say that Tim must be Masky. My reason for this being simply the interview tape. Surely the PM's wouldnt want to spend time and effort drawing our attention to him in such an overt way unless he had a much bigger part to play in the endgame?

 		Maybe the hotel Jay is staying in IS the ark that protects him from Masky...

After all, he might have burned down his appartment while the hotel might be
a temporary way of protection.

 		Yeah I can't buy the MPD thing. Not only have Masky and Jay been seen on camera several times together, meaning they are not the same person, but we've also seen TTA taping Jay on a couple of occasions. For example, in the first video in which this happens (Exit), it's clear from the on-screen movement that the camera is being held by someone, and hasn't just been propped up to film him.

 		The weirdest thing for me is this is my town. That news anchor is one of the more common ones on our channel 12 news. We just had 11 fires recently. Slenderman is gonna come eat my soul. ARG

I'm assuming that "by someone he knows" he means someone he doesnt associate with trying to stalk the shit out of him. He would've mentioned Tim as the person wouldn't he? I think this is his way of being like "some randum IG shmoe r called me" without having to name a person.

Question is though, if Jay is holed up in god-knows-where, then who COULD have contacted him? And why is Jay trusting said person? (they could be a slenderzombie)

That was subtle AND clever!

First, I don't think Jay would have told us who whether he knew or just suspected, because of the nature of the character. He doesn't share things unless he has a reason to.

Second, they make these awesome phones now, you can give friends your number and they can call you, and get this - you can take them anywhere! And on a college campus, it's incredibly easy to get someone's phone number, even if you don't know their name.

He also received an anonymous tip earlier about going to Brian's house. I'm wondering if that was the same person. Someone who knows him.
